Deck

A friend of Bill's is planning on building a new deck. He intends to take the deck boards off the existing deck and use some of the same framework as he builds the new one. When we built ours we used treated lumber and saved several hundred dollars. As I look back on the process I wonder if it would have been worth spending more and putting on the boards that we would never have had to stain again. Maybe the next time we build a deck we will consider that.
