Grand daughters!

Barking Dogs

Our neighbor has a dog that barks what seems to be all of the time. They keep it in a kennel. I have never seen it out of the kennel which I don't understand. I think they should let the dog out and take it for walks. It appears to be a friendly dog but I am not sure. Our dog doesn't get the walks she needs all of the time but she does get out some times.

New Gun Law

It sounds like many states have changed their gun laws to allow people to carry either open or concealed. In Iowa the law has changed to allow the carry of even shotguns, rifles and switchblades. Change In Weather

We have gone from cold to hot then back to the colder side as of late. I know that summer weather can be unpredictable and I realize there will be changes day by day but some of the changes have been huge. I always say that I prefer warm weather over winter. The cold and snow just don't appeal to me like when I was a child.

Construction Jobs

Well, it's that time of year. Seems more people are interested in remodeling and working on their homes. It's a great thing for people in the construction jobs. It keeps them all pretty busy which is a plus. Homes seem to be selling and the economy is on the upswing. We want to see progress.

Ability To Sing

Some have it and some don't. Singing ability is what I am talking about. I can sing fairly well in a group. My husband says he can too, if the group is big enough. I am so impressed with those that can sing, seemingly with no effort at all. There are those that aren't old enough to have had serious singing lessons and I am really in awe of them. Recently, Scotty McCreery was named as the American Idol. He is only 17 years old. Wow.

Let It Rain

I am hoping we will get a little rain soon. It was pretty hot and windy this week so some rain would be nice. Areas around us have actually received too much rain so I guess we have it pretty good. My husband is good at keeping the yard in great shape. I remember mowing the yard but that was years ago. Thankfully!

Sand/Water Table

We were out on my son's farm for Memorial Day. It was so much fun. The grandkids loved the sand/water table that they had out there. Kaden just kept playing in the water. Between that, the chickens, kitties, sprinklers, hammock, rides in a wagon on the John Deere and more, the kids were quite entertained.
