Birthday Invitations

In the last few years our family has grown immensely and we find ourselves in the market for birthday invitations for so many different occasions. To begin with we have gained several grandchildren and each one will be celebrating their birthday at a different time and place of course. We wish to invite as many of our family as possible to that very special first birthday. So in order to do that, I have been searching the Internet for all kinds of cute, exciting, and those such invitations that will match up to the theme their Moms have chosen for each of their parties. I know each one will be different and I found a huge variety of invitations to help their Moms with the planning of the big birthday event and help them get the invitations at reasonable rates and get them mailed out for each party. Actually, 4 of the children are all with 2 months so it is necessary to get going and get the invitations ordered as soon as possible. Then of course, the two, three and four year olds also want to have a party for their birthdays, so I am trying to help with invitations for those as well. Not only that, but it will not be very long and it will be time for my husband's milestone birthday. I want to get special invitations for his birthday and surprise him. I found I could get invitations that would advise the guests to keep it a big secret from him so he will be totally surprised. Since he is reaching a certain milestone in his life, it is always fun to celebrate those in a special way. Deck Furniture

Now that we have a new home we're trying to fix it up the way we want it to be. Getting new deck furniture was top of the list. We actually have a front porch which we love! It fun to experience new things and a new area. The deck furniture only adds to that excitement! Shopping is fun also and we've been doing a lot of that!

Old Dog, NewTricks

Some say that you can't teach an old dog new tricks but our dog doesn't seem to know that. Even though she is almost 11 years old she does learn to do new things. She is a pretty good dog. There are times that she is kind of a pain, like waking us up way too early in the morning, but overall she is a good addition to the family. She can shake, beg and roll over but I do wish she would do a better job on walks by staying by my side when not on a leash. If you have ideas in that regard please let me know.

Plus size maternity clothes

Can you remember the types of clothes you wore while being pregnant? The styles sure have changed. The blouses I wore were big and the dresses were like wearing a tent. Now they are more slim fitted and it's easier to fine the plus size maternity clothes as well. I think I would have enjoyed my wardrobe had they had these styles back in the day.

Wedding Shower

Our church had a wedding shower on Saturday for our youngest son's fiance. It was a great turnout and many beautiful gifts. It is always a lot of fun to go to one when you don't have to do all the planning and someone else has handled all the decorations and refreshments. A good time was had by all. We are really getting excited for the date of the wedding to arrive.

Easter Dinner

I am planning an early Easter dinner this Saturday as it is also my youngest son's birthday. We will have all the grandchildren there. It will be a great family time. We will hide Easter eggs and it will be so much fun to watch the kids find them. They get so excited. Easter is probably the best celebration of all because our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, went to the cross, died and rose again and is in Heaven interceding for us now. What a wonderful gift he gave us.
