When I was younger I didn't think much of skin care. As I have gotten older it has become more of a concern for me. I have tried different products for moisturizing and cleansing. I have never been one to watch for and clip a lot of coupons, but maybe I should. I know there are very good deals to be had in many stores and coupons can come in quite handy. Spring is finally coming. We have actually had some warmer temperatures and beginning to think about doing some yard work. Soon we'll move our patio furniture outdoors. In order to keep the furniture looking great we will need to go shopping for some new patio furniture covers. The weather can be brutal on outdoor furnishings. It's exciting to think that grilling season is right around the corner.

or buys We are all watching our pennies and doing our research. Recently in watching the new Howie Mandel video on YouTube, I was informed of the Buy.com website. What a great way to quickly shop and compare for what you may be looking for. I thought the video was also quite entertaining.

Painting

Oh what fun. We have decided it's time to add a bit of color to our home. We are going to work on painting the living room tomorrow. Preparing the walls can be the most time consuming part of all. We have taped off all of the trim, removed electrical covers, light switch covers and moved furniture. I think we're ready to go.

Stay at Home Moms

It has been a few years since I was a stay at home mom, but I remember it well. I feel it was worth all of my time and energy, to be with my children. Who better to influence them as they are developing, but me. I hope many others feel the same. It doesn't take a village to raise my children.

Politics

We try to keep up on what is going on in the political scene. Whether you like the new president or not he is the one we have right now. Someone said he sounded just like during the campaign when he spoke on TV a few weeks ago. I do agree with that. I hope he does well for the sake of our country. One of the issues that seems to be talked about by people I know is the one on health care. Why is it that government run health care has been seen to not work in other countries, but our leaders want it here? That doesn't make sense to me.
