Great Day!

What a nice day. Jen and I were able to attend a bridal shower of a long time family friend. It was nice to help her celebrate the soon arrival of her special day. We then went home, relaxed while the kids napped and headed up to their house while the guys golfed. I always enjoy my time spent with family, so this was such a nice way to spend our Saturday. It makes for a busy day...but a fun one! I'm so glad all of our kids are close enough to see on a regular basis. We love seeing the grandbabies too!

Buying Gold

If you're familiar with the United States Gold Bureau you know that they make it easy to purchase silver, gold or other precious metals and coins. They will deliver it to you or can arrange for safe storage. I have been thinking more and more on buying silver, and now that I heard it's a good time to do it, we just may have to. The World demand for it now exceeds annual production and it's been that way since 1990. If you want to check into it more, take a look at the United States Gold Bureau. They have a lot of information there, including info on how to buy gold eagle coins.

Bachelorette

Do you watch the bachelorette? After every season I tell myself I'm not going to watch it again because I'm always upset with the ending...but something always grabs me and I end up glued each and every time. This season is pretty good and I really don't know what she's going to do. Will she choose Roberto or Chris? Or maybe no one at all? It's really hard telling with this show. You never know. I guess we'll have to tune in this coming Monday and find out!

Shopping Online

I am always looking for an easier way to shop, and recently was told about a website where you can buy many of your household items and have them delivered to your door. The best part is, that their prices are comparable to the stores we shop at and there's no shipping charges. This seems like a no brainer to me if they carry the brands I like. I haven't spent a lot of time looking at the website yet, but think it's something I will end up doing. How convenient would that be?

Transunion Settlement

Have you heard of TransUnion before? They are a pretty big credit reporting company who illegally sold confidential credit information between the years 1987 and 2000. As you probably know, disclosing information like this is illegal and has led to a large segment of the American population being affected and taking action.

If you applied for credit during this time period, you may want to check into O'Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath. They have skilled attorneys who understand the seriousness of the situation and want to help you. If you'd like, you can fill out their intake form to receive more information and consultation. The Transunion Settlement is something more and more people are learning about, I just wanted to pass along the word for anyone who may have been affected by this situation.

What a night!

Do you ever have those days? Yea know.... the kind where nothing seems to be going your way. After a long day at work, we ended up having an even longer night at home. We started out cleaning out our bedroom. Taking out all of the furniture and ripping up the old carpet and padding. Four hours later we were making supper, mowing and washing four loads of clothes. Just as we were going to sit down we found that our sewer was beginning to back up. Thank goodness it wasn't very bad, but we can't use our water, toilets, shower etc... until the plumber comes in the morning. We have had this issue before and the city was responsible. They are not keeping the sewer lines cleared down here where we live. It is quite frustrating. Sorry... just had to vent.

A great movie for date night.

The article written by Victor Flowers

One of my favorite date night movies to watch is Final Destination 2. It's a scary movie that is guaranteed to make your date want to snuggle in your arms while you watch it. I love it when I am able to catch it on my tv i got as a result of cable tv promotions near Louisville.

The premise of the movie is about a group of young adults who escape death. One of the characters has a premonition of a horrific traffic accident. She tries to get her friends to not get on to the freeway. They end up killed while others that were supposed to die, including her, do not get killed.

Death doesn't seem to liked being outdone, so a powerful force is now coming after all of those that died in the premonition, but didn't die in the actual accident. The film even brings back a survivor from the first movie to try to help those trying to survive death now. Will they be successful? How many can survive the force determined to take them to their grave? You and your date will just have to dim the lights and find out for yourselves. Try not to get too scared and don't be embarrassed if you scream once or twice.

Buy Gold Bullion

With the economy the way it is, I've heard a lot of people talk about investing...especially by purchasing silver, gold or precious metals and coins. It can be a very wise thing to do, as I've known many people who have done it themselves.

Just for fun, I've been researching it a bit. I learned that with the United States Gold Bureau you can purchase precious metals like these and arrange for safe storage or personal deliver to a bank or depository. Have you ever considered the thought to buy gold bullion or silver? If so, the good news is...there's never been a better time to buy!

If you're considering purchasing silver for example, you may want to do so soon. The World demand for silver now exceeds annual products and has every year for the past 20 years. That's very good news for us as buyers.

HDTV

For many years we had the big heavy TVs in our home. We have slowly started to replace them with the new HDTV type. The thin flat screens are amazing! We love how light weight they have become. We no longer have a problem with moving them or even hanging them up. They are the neatest creation. The pictures are also awesome. They are clear and crisp.

Rain

We have had plenty of rain lately. The last downpour gave us about 3 inches of rain. Bill mowed the grass tonight and it really wasn't all that damp. I was surprised at that. We are fortunate compared to other places in the state where they have had 2-3 times as much rain as we have had.

Gold Coins

With our economy in the shape that it is in and the questionable future that is out there, many are striving to secure their financial futures. The United States Gold Bureau is there for them. Through them you can purchase silver, gold coins and other precious metals. They make this process easy and convenient for the buyer. This could be a way of giving back some purchasing power to those who have lost much of their savings. It has been devastating to some, but now you can make a turn around. The demand for silver is currently on the rise. The future is bright. Click into their website and see for yourself.

Our recent PCS move

This guest post from Doris Dillon

My husband is in the armed forces, which means every four to five years we have to move to some unknown place. This time we moved to a small little city in South Carolina and so far I really enjoy it better than our last station out West. I just called yesterday to get clear wimax and tv deal hooked up and they should be here any time to do that for us.

I am so glad that we could find the deal that we found on this home, it was a foreclosure and we paid a lot less than it was for sale for a few years ago. The best part about this home, is that it is in a excellent neighborhood with a very nice park right down the road. Our son really enjoys seeing wildlife, and this park looks to be a great place to see some.

I feel as though we will be unpacking for years, but I probably should start unpacking here soon because I know our son is wondering where all of his toys have went to and why he has not saw any of them in a few days.

California!

Over ten years ago already, my family traveled out to California and met up with other members of my extended family. My mom and dad were there and also my sister and her family. We had such an awesome time and have such neat memories from the vacation. It would be fun to do that again sometime!

Listening to my ipod

Guest post written by Bart Warsaw

I really don’t know why it took me so long to break down and finally buy an ipod. I should’ve bought one as soon as I heard about them!

I thought I’d never listen to one but I listen to mine every day during my commute to work, breaks and workouts. But lately I had noticed that I had to turn up the volume higher than I was used to just to hear my music. At first I thought it was my headphones so I replaced them and still had trouble hearing. A trip to the Apple store told me there was nothing wrong with my ipod, what was wrong was my hearing.

So I went home, looked up information about hearing loss and considered getting a miracle ear hearing aid. I called a number I found online for the company and asked a sales person just exactly how much does miracle ear cost.

I learned it was in my budget and that I could listen to my ipod while I wear one so I got one that you can’t even see unless you look really hard.

Work Week

For me the work week has ended. What I mean is that my job outside of the house is done for the week. I am looking forward to having other stuff to do and getting my mind off of work for a few days. I plan to relax a bit too. The weather looks like it will cooperate with me doing something outside tomorrow.

Here

As I grow older I am finding it increasingly more difficult to control my weight. My husband has always been good about exercise and I am now seeing that it may be a good idea for me to become more interested in that also. In researching some weight loss programs I found a site that shows a variety of ideas. A person can read up and here find pills that may assist them in the process of losing and staying fit. The internet is sure a great tool for many things.

Fat Burner

If you know something about fitness and health you realize that it is important to burn fat. Keeping your heart rate up at a certain level for a given amount of time is very beneficial in your exercise program. By going to the site at www.fatburner.org you will find just what you need. Don't worry, it isn't an internet site that is selling stuff. In fact you can't buy on the site, even if you wanted to. Check them out.

Apidexin Reviews

Can you imagine losing five or six pounds a week without hardly trying? Of course that is what we would all like to see. In reading on line I found apidexin reviews. They talk about their fat burning system and how it can assist in losing those unwanted pounds. People who have tried for years to lose weight are now becoming success stories. I found it to be an interesting read.

Storm Clouds

This afternoon there were some pretty scary looking clouds in our area. We did get a little rain but no real storms came out of this particular system. We have had plenty of storms already this year. Our yard is still damp so I don't think we are in desperate need of more rain. It has been very hot and humid but it looks like the temperatures will be lower next week.

Trade Shows

There are many types of trade shows with exhibit booths. People display their products and services in doing these events. There are all different types of trade show displays represented. Some use the logo floor mats to personalize their area. They can also be used in areas of business for advertising purposes. Most are large in size. Some use the ease of a quick pop up portable display.
There are different truss systems used at times. They can be high tech and attractive. The truss can also be of use in a variety of areas such as stores, churches, concerts etc....
There are vast arrays of ideas in which a person can present their business and or products. It's interesting to see what others have come up with.

New Carpet

We are planning on having new carpet installed in three bedrooms and the hall. Some of our carpet is pretty old. I will be glad to have it done. It will look totally different. Bill was happy with the color that I picked out. I knew what I wanted and thankfully was able to find it in a short time. I am excited for the new look.

Teaching My Child To Surf The Web

Guest post written by Taylor Hovik

My stepson is 9 years old and for a few years he has enjoyed watching his dad and I play games online. One of us would allow him to go to websites designed for young children but only while we watched.

This year he got his own laptop so we immediately understood that supervision would become more challenging. We have a few computers in our home connected to satellite internet arizona.

The first thing we did to introduce satalite internet to our son was to ask him which websites he frequented so that we had an idea of what content he enjoyed. We then utilized the child locks on his laptop to allow those websites he listed and to block websites designed for adults.

It was important that our son also knew that the internet while filled with regular people like me and you also has bad people who try to take advantage of children. Just like in real life, it is forbidden that he chats with strangers. We talked to him about online safety and how to alert one of us if he is approached.

Another thing we taught him was about viruses and how certain websites and applications could harm the computer. We are confident that between the built in security and the talk we had with him, his online experience should be safe.

Rupert Gee

What an exciting trip we had to NYC recently! Renee and I had our picture taken with Rupert Gee from the Letterman Show. He runs the Hello Deli around the corner from the show. If you watch Letterman I'm sure you will recognize him from there. He was busy talking with a customer at the time. I'm sure he gets a lot of that.

Muscle Supplement Reviews

As my husband and I grow older we are noticing rapid changes in our bodies. It seems to be easier to gain those unwanted extra pounds now. We also don't seem to have the muscle tone we use to have. I realize that this is all very normal and just part of growing older. In researching a person can fine muscle supplement reviews and other types of programs to aid in staying fit. It's not an easy process, but one that a person can begin to deal with.

The Late Show with David Letterman

We enjoyed our trip to NYC this past week! My son won tickets to the David Letterman Show, so we were beyond excited! As we stood in line a guy from the show pulled us aside and said that we had been chosen to be in a special group that would be seated right down front! How awesome is that?! He was telling the truth. We were on the end of the second row. Letterman was just feet from us. A band member threw out his guitar pick and Bill grabbed it. Eminem and JayZ were the special guests. It was a great time!

Acnepril Reviews

In raising three children we found each to be quite different. They have talents in different areas, a diverse range of goals and interests and issues that were and are quite individual. When it came to the adolescent years we faced some acne concerns. Now you can sit down to the computer and check out acnepril reviews and other types of products. Back then we were trusting on word of mouth and doctors for advice. The internet is an awesome tool.

Now with the click of a mouse we can find a vast selection of information at our fingertips. At www.acnetreatmentsreview.net you will find detailed information about acne treatment. The work has been done for you. All you have to do is read and come to your own conclusions. Health made easy.....

Blackhead Remover

About three years ago I began seeing a dermatologist. He found that I had a pre-cancerous spot at the time. I had it removed and have since had a couple more. About two years ago I found a dark spot on my cheek. At first a co-worker thought it was a blackhead. She said that she had a blackhead remover from when she worked for a dermatologist years before. I'm glad we didn't do anything about it, because I found out that is wasn't a blackhead at all. My Dr is keeping an eye on it.

New Grill

Bill got a new grill for Father's Day. It is huge and wonderful! He loves it already. We have grilled several times in the past week. It is stainless steel and has four burners. He said that it cools off fast too which is a nice feature. He now has to figure out what to do with the old grill.
