Accutane Lawsuit

Have you suffered from acne and used Accutane? Have you had health problems you could not figure out such as an ulcerative colon, pain or perhaps even bleeding? At the present time there is an Accutane Lawsuit and if you have such diseases as Crone's or other symptoms, perhaps you have a case. This firm of fine attorneys are very sympathetic to your injuries and will assist you in determining if you have a case. They will arrange a free consultation with them and in the meantime if you like, you can get on the Internet and check out the most frequently asked questions and see if your symptoms appear to be from Accutane.

Heavy Fog

We have had heavy fog all day and it doesn't look like it is going to let up soon. I sure wish it would rain and take away the fog while it is still above freezing. They are talking freezing rain tomorrow and it would be much better if we get snow instead. we will be a bit farther north so maybe it will be snow up there. I hope so.

New Years Eve

We are excited about spending New Years with our daughter and her family. Our grandchildren are growing up so fast and it is so much fun to spend as much time with them as possible. I hope one day they live a bit closer to us but right now it isn't too far except in bad weather. We will all have a good time. Our little granddaughter just loves to help her "Grammy" in the kitchen :0)

Regency Beauty Institute

We are not very far from Minneapolis where Regency first began with 2 schools. Now they are really growing and expanding and are in 19 States. They have 80 lovely campuses and are expecting to add more. If you are considering a Regency Beauty Institute to train for your career in cosmetology, you will find a campus much like an upscale salon in which to learn. With a choice of so many States, perhaps you have been wanting to go somewhere away from home to school and you can find the one you have been wishing for. You will learn while working on the public which is quite an advantage because you can hone your skills on real people. They also have a placement relationship with salons such as those on runways or cruise ships and that sounds very exciting to me.

Healthcare jobs

For many years now I have worked in the healthcare field. I believe they are still needing great people for good healthcare jobs. With the unemployment rate like it is, hopefully many will find those much needed jobs. It can be a great career for someone. It also feels good to be able to help others.

Urban clothing

What a Christmas! We like many received wonderful gifts this Christmas! There was gifts ranging from Ipods to urban clothing. It's so much fun to watch the kids open gifts. They get so excited! They make it magical. Our youngest son spent the holidays in Colorado. We sure missed him here with all of us.

Lighted holiday potpourri jars

Guest post written by Kristen Daye

I love it when functional things look pretty too. But I think that's even more important during the holidays when so many people seem to come in and out of our home. Whether people like to admit it or not, they always pay a lot of attention to the way that a home is decorated. That goes double for during the holiday season because put so much trouble into all of their decorations.

I'm having a holiday party this weekend and wanted to try and come up with some kind of holiday potpourri. I went online with my Clear Wireless Internet to try and find a fun holiday solution to that.

I found a whole lot of recipes for your average DIY potpourri, but came across these lighted holiday potpourri jars that I thought were so adorable that I'm going to make some one night this week to place throughout my house for the party. I think that would be a really fun way to do potpourri and maybe even be a conversation starter for some people that don't know each other at the party.

Christmas Shopping Season

Guest post of the week by Nestor Nielsen

The holiday season is the most exciting time of the year when you can join up with friends and take a shopping trip to the mall. It is always good to take safety measures during this time so that your holiday will be enjoyable. One of the most important things to do is to make sure you set the home alarm system before leaving. This will ensure that your home is protected while you are away.

You would not want to spoil your Christmas by having a thief steal all of your presents that is nicely wrapped under your tree. While you are out shopping at the mall and having a good time you will not have to worry about your home being broke into. The holiday season can be a most expensive time of the year as well. You work hard to purchase the presents and it takes just a little time less than a few minutes to set an alarm(check it out). If shopping from store to store is always best to keep your car locked at all times.

Netbook

Last year we bought a netbook. It is quite small but we have enjoyed it. There is no CD drive in the machine but we can do without that. I am using it now. It is light weight and handy to use. We have taken it with us when we've gone on vacation and found it worth having.

Buy Gold Bullion

They are saying that there has never been a better time to invest in buying silver and other precious metals. To buy gold bullion is another option. The United States Gold Bureau can assist you with a purchase. They arrange for an immediate and safe delivery to the bank or depository of your choosing. For centuries gold has been known for it's beauty as well as in securing one's wealth and protect their purchasing power. Silver and gold can both be bought in an ingot form. This is a pure gold bullion cast that is made into a convenient size and shape for storing. Click into their website and see all that they have to offer.

A Dog And Her Bone

Our dog loves to have a chewy bone in the evening. She is funny to watch because she hides it around the house. Last week she actually forgot where she hid it. She looked all over the house and I finally gave her a new one. There are times she will stare at me with the chewy bone in her mouth like she wants me to turn away so I don't see where she hides it next.

Baptism Gift From Godparents

Have you been or are you a godparent? When asked to fulfill this honor, one must think about a baptism gift from godparents. It should be special and heart felt. It's not always easy to decide on that precious gift. It's great to have the internet to do some shopping. I can usually find all I am needing.

Peacock Alley

With family coming home for the Holidays, I've been working on the house some. In shopping I saw some awesome looking fine linens. They carried peacock alley, John Atkinson and more. When everyone is home we have a house full and it's nice if we all sleep well. I think we're about ready for Christmas now!

Christmas Cookies

I got all my Christmas baking done. I mostly bake cookies but there are some bars too. We give some away but they are nice to have in the freezer for us too. We all seem to have our favorites. I think my husband enjoys the molasses cookies most of all but he will eat any of them. I like them all too.

Buy Gold Coins

The last couple of years has proven to be quite scary. Many are unsure of their investments and what is the wisest way to invest. With the United States Gold Bureau you can buy gold coins and other precious metals. There may never be a better time then now. Silver is in great demand and production can't keep up. You can purchase gold and silver in an ingot form. This is a pure bullion cast that is formed into a convenient size and shape for storage. Now is the time to browse for yourself and see what you might be missing. Begin to rebuild our losses.

Christmas Cards

I got my Christmas letter and cards done and mailed last week. We are starting to receive some in the mail too. I love to read each one and find out how family and friends are doing. Some of them we don't get to see all that often. I enjoy hanging them up as we get them. They look nice and colorful for the Christmas season.

Baking Fun!

My oldest grandson Emry was visiting Grammy recently. We had so much fun making lunch on Sunday afternoon. He was such a good helper. We were making Pizza Roll-ups. That's what I like to call them!

A book case for my e-reader

Guest post written by Amy Boron

I was a little apprehensive about getting an e-reader because I've always loved holding onto a book to read it. I also always visited the library often and would get a little more enjoyment out of knowing that others had enjoyed the book before I had too. Even the plastic rustling noise of library books didn't bother me either.

But I had been pining after a Kindle for a while and now that they're cheaper than ever, I decided to take the plunge and finally buy one. I did a whole lot of research on other e-readers too before I bought my Kindle though and while I was doing that I actually found some Clear wireless internet offers. I had been having trouble with my wireless internet company for a while by then, so I decided to sign up for one of those offers to replace the service.

I knew that I would need a case for my Kindle too because I tend to be a little rough with electronics. I found this great book Kindle cover that you actually make out of an old book cover! I love the irony of it and how it will help protect my Kindle so I won't have to worry about tossing it in my bag.

Soup

I have been hungry for soup so that is what I am making for supper. There really isn't anything better on a cold day than freshly made soup. It is going to be so good. I have several recipes for soups and like them all. This particular soup has potatoes and veggies in it. I can almost smell it now even though I haven't started it yet.

Term Life Insurance

Over the past couple of years most people have found that they may need to cut their budget somehow. We thought it might be worth checking into our term life insurance as well as Auto and Home insurance. We found that it definitely was worth the time spent to switch companies. We are now saving over $500 a year! That is a lot of money!

What Fun!

Over Thanksgiving we were blessed to have all of our children home with us. The laughter filled the house. The grandchildren are so sweet. To capture a picture with all of them looking is quite the task. But well worth spending the time trying! :)

Bill Cosby In The Funniest Man On Earth

Content by Mauricio Benson

I must admit that I've always been impressed by Bill Cosby. He's my all-time favorite television actor. I have followed him for a long time, and he has never disappointed.

The Cosby Show was a great success, and I enjoyed every episode. I love to watch Mr. Cosby on Satellite TV HD DVR in the syndicated episodes of the Cosby Show, but I also enjoy the show that was simply titled Cosby. He is so incredibly funny, and all of the surrounding cast members blend perfectly.

I also love the positivity that the Bill Cosby shows possess. He can take a serious subject and find a way to make you laugh. I don't know how he does it, but he does it time and time again. It seems like he knows how to take real life situations for families and put a unique twist on them. I even try to take tips for raising my own children when I watch the shows.

He has been around for a long time, and his shows are timeless. If it was up to me I would give Bill Cosby his own station let him broadcast all day. The humor from the shows is a direct link to his stand-up comedy routines. This is what makes them so interesting. He keeps the humor in the skits without comprising the stand-up routines.

Steve Carell Is The Best Employee On Television

Guest post written by my buddy Judy Guerrero

My job is a boring one. There's no way to get around that. I accept it for what it is. I do my work and get out of there. It's not so bad because I can go home and watch my favorite actor, Steve Carell, in The Office. The show makes fun of all that happens at work, and my job suddenly doesn't seem so bad anymore.

There is a British version of The Office, and this show was a spin-off of that one. I am so glad that Steve Carell grabbed the lead role by the horns and gave it new life. I've seen him in movies, but it's a great to see him every night on my satellite television that I got after researching Satellite VS Cable.

He's a comedian with an excellent sense of timing. No one would every imagine that something as simple as a show about an office would generate so much humor. The show has a massive fan base, and I know that Steve Carell is the reason behind this. He uses witty dry humor that just keeps you laughing over and over.

Steve blends well with the cast, and the show has been very successful because of this chemistry. This is the main reason that the show has lasted for all of these years. Anyone that works in an office can relate to this office humor.

Zappos

Tis the Season! The Christmas music has begun to play and the Malls are beginning to fill with shoppers. Starting a Christmas list can be interesting. Deciding on what to buy for each loved one and friend can be a chore. For the past couple of years now I have found it to be much easier and less stressful to shop online. The Zappos website is a wonderful and user-friendly site to shop on.
While browsing there I found that they carry Burberry Shoes and other brand names. From flip flops to boots, they seem to have it all. I enjoy looking through all of the styles and colors they offer. They have clothing, accessories and even house ware items. There’s so much to see.
I think one of my favorite things about this site is that it offers free shipping on all domestic orders. That doesn't mean that the shipment will take longer, but it does mean it can save me money. You can't beat that. I will definitely be looking into the variety of stock that they offer!

Rain in November

Crazy weather we've been having don't you think? We were having some days in the 70's not so long ago and now we are having rain with temps in the 40's. A bit of snow has fallen in the past week but it didn't last. We had some icy roads and driveways too but thankfully that has gone away too. I don't enjoy winter but if it doesn't get any worse I can put up with this.

Hockey is Big Time Fun Where I Live

The article written by Frances Blevins

I was really surprised when my wife went out to lunch with me on game day wearing a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey. She started watching the games on Satalite Specials with me but wasn't what one would call a big fan of the hockey. That was about ten years ago. Now there is a huge fan base of the Pittsburgh Penguins who are women, and they are more rabid fans than many of the men. I've never seen anything like it. We have the NFL and Major League Baseball represented here in Pittsburgh, but they don't get the female fans like hockey does.

I joke with my wife that it is because many of the players are French and the women are romanticizing the game. My wife and her girlfriends who are hooked on hockey all go nuts over Sidney “Sid The Kid” Crosby. I tell the girls that they only like him because he is a hockey player who still has all of his teeth.

Our team went through some bad times. They have won the Stanley Cup Championship more than once, but there were some lean times when there was bankruptcy and talk about moving the franchise out of Pittsburgh. Our town is still a blue collar town even though the steel mills are mostly closed and there are a lot of white collar jobs now. It must be in the coal dust particles that still are floating in the air because even highly paid executives are crazy for the Penguins.

Blue Sky Scrubs

For my job I am required to wear uniforms. In some ways it makes life a little bit more simple. I don't have to think very hard about what I will wear to work that day. We are also required to wear a certain color each day. I sometimes mess that up, but it's OK.
Recently I was shopping for some new scrub pants. I can have a difficult time finding just the right pair with the right fit. It took me awhile, but was well worth the time spent.
Then I knew that I also better invest in some new scrub tops. That was an easy one for me. I don't seem to have an issue when it comes to the fit of a top. I'm thankful for that.

A Refreshing Trip Home

Thanks for the article from Phillip Weaver

I've been living on my own now for about four years. It's been tough adjusting to living away from home and dealing with the responsibility that comes with being an adult. Often, I find myself feeling too worn out to go out with my friends. One thing that re-energizes me is going back home to visit my family on Thanksgiving. Now that we're in November, I'm definitely eager to get back home and be surrounded by loved ones. As usual, I bought my ticket home weeks in advance. I've even got most of my packing done already. All I pretty much have to do is remember to set my home security alarm from AllHomeSecurity.com before I leave.

I'm looking forward to seeing my entire family, but I'm especially eager to see my brother who will be visiting from his job in England this year. I know my parents will probably have something special planned to welcome him home. The last two years he's had to join us via Skype, so it will be nice to have him there in person and give him a big fat hug. I'm also looking forward to spending some time with my childhood friends Marissa and Laura as I haven't seen them in over a year and so I made plans to go shopping with the two of them the day before Thanksgiving.

Icy Roads

We recently had some weather related problems and icy roads. I just don't like winter weather any more. When I was young I didn't mind winter at all. My grand kids love playing in the snow. Maybe when they get older they won't enjoy it so much. For now I want them to have fun at everything they do. That doesn't mean I have to like winter and icy roads but I can allow the little ones to enjoy their time in the snow.

Best under eye cream for dark circles.

Have you ever noticed a person with dark circles under their eyes? I think as I am growing older I may be experiencing that a little bit also. There are products on the market that are suppose to help with this problem. You can find some of the best under eye cream for dark circles right out there on the internet. It's great to shop from home. Gotta love it!

Keeping Warm

I am thankful that we have a warm place to live. It is easy to take things for granted sometimes. We have had some cold days and nights already. I love being able to push the button for the fireplace to come one. I also enjoy turning the electric blanket on an hour or so before getting into bed. I know it sounds funny but it is little things that can make us happy.

Staying faithful to writers

Guest post written by Beth Walters

I'm not one of those people that skip around and just read whatever books they can find. I like the security that reading the same authors gives because then I know a little more of what to expect. I just hate uncertainty and surprises, so you can probably guess that I hate mystery novels.

One of the writers that I've always been able to depend on writing stuff that I'll always love though is Danielle Steel. I like to use my CLEARWIRE wireless internet to get alerts through Google about when she's coming out with a new book, so I'm always up to speed on her work.

And I'm glad that there are lots of Danielle Steel books to read and keep me busy. IÕm kind of a slow reader and it at least takes me a few weeks to finish even the shortest books because I read them bit by bit. So that every time I finish a book, it seems like thereÕs another Danielle Steel book waiting there for me to read and finish.

Enjoying My Lunch Break With Co Workers

This guest post from Norris Beard

Sometimes I watch Cannon Satellite television during my lunch break, but since I like to socialize a lot as well, I try to get as many people to break with me as I can. Sometimes I have to wait longer to eat but we have so much fun when we get together, it's not a problem for me to wait. Since the break is not that long, I try to prepare my own lunch the day before. Since our break is only about an hour and a half, we have to hurry out of the building. Depending on how busy we are for the day, we may not be able to finish our break. On these days, I usually sit in the break room with everyone else and we try and make the best of it.

Sometimes if our boss expects us to be busy for the day, he'll bring lunch for everyone. This works out great on days that I don't have any money and don't have time to get home and eat. I try to bring in snacks like fruit and celery sticks to eat on during work so that when it's time to break, I won't be as hungry and if I want to go home for my break I can. I do this a lot the closer it gets to payday.

Shop Shop Shop!

What a day. My husband and I went about thirty miles to a bigger city today to do some shopping. We had a great day! We picked up a few more Christmas presents, groceries for the upcoming Thanksgiving dinner and my birthday present! Bill bought me a new watch. I was finding with age it was growing more difficult to actually see the face of my old watch. This one is bigger and I think I'm really going to like it!

A turkey for two

Guest post written by Kelly Allan

I really did buy the smallest turkey that I could find at the grocery store for mine and my husband's Thanksgiving dinner together, so I think that we're going to be eating a whole lot of turkey leftovers for the next week or so too. I've fixed turkeys before but it's always been in the kitchen with my Grandma, so I was really just watching her or I guess that you could say assisting her instead of doing it myself. I'm a little worried about the outcome, but I know that my husband's going to pretend to like it either way anyway.

I've been consulting a lot of directions to figure out how to cook this turkey for the big night and one of those times when I was looking for that I came across some info about a wireless company that I want to try out so I decided to click now and sign up for the service.

After reading all of those directions I think that I have a pretty decent idea of how to make the stuffed turkey.

Memories

Boy, this brings back some fun memories. My son and his wife are enjoying their country living and all it has to offer. No More Blues

Guest written by our friend Trent Horton

There are no more blues being sung in St. Louis, that's for sure, not with the kind of defense not seen since the Great Wall of China kept out a bunch of thieving Mongolians. No sir, the St. Louis Blues don't even allow shots on goal, that's how stout their ramparts are. We're talking the fewest shots total in the NHL. And even if some lucky puck shot were to get through, guess what happens next. That's right, red hot and burning goalie Jaroslay Halak, that's Halak with one L and a thousand invisible but not silent W's, is stopping everything in his way like a punctuated period. That is how Halak rolls, and when the Sharks and Bruins come to town he is going to shut them down too.

So confident that we are on the way straight to drinking beer out of Lord Stanley's mug that I have signed up for NHL Center Ice with my basic package I get from direct tv dvr packages. Normally I am content to catch the game on internet streams, but now that I've got a high definition TV, only the highest picture quality will do. Now I watch my defense bring the pain and real folk blues to all the suckers in the NHL every night from the comfort of my couch and overweight dog which I occasionally use as a seat cushion.

Weight loss pills that work

Isn't it funny how as we grow older many of us who have never struggled with weight now find ourselves fighting those unwanted pounds? We look for those weight loss pills that work or a new exercise program. There are hundreds of different diets a person can also try. It's just not much fun.

iPod

Have you seen the new iPod? Technology just keeps changing doesn't it? These little gadgets can do a lot. Bill bought one of the previous models and it works great but he wants one of the new ones now. I am sure he can sell his easy enough. It is hard to keep up with the newest electronics.

Skyline Library

Guest post of the week by Jeffry Warren

I started attending Skyline College this fall. Since I'm easily distracted by the television set, my roommates and I prefer to head over to the library to study for quizzes and tests. Unless one of us decides not to go, we always set the home security alarm (online offer adt San Jose) up before departing for the campus library. One thing I noticed immediately about the library over at Skyline College is smaller than most. It encompasses only one floor and the computer area comprises less than 20 computers. Curiously, the other floors all seem to be classrooms for which I nor my friends have ever had a class in.

Regardless, we usually head into one of the five study rooms to commence our work. While laptops are allowed, I try not to bring mine unless it is absolutely necessary because I don't want to spend my time browsing through the latest sports scores or something like that. Usually if I really need to check my e-mail for an assignment or something, I can just use one of the computers at the library. All that is required to use the computer is to enter your student ID and your school PIN number. So far what I like best about the study rooms here are that they allow you to bring food. For whatever reason, I get tired incredibly fast unless I have something to munch on while I study.

Strong Wind

Recently we have had strong winds in the area. It has been very nice to see clear skies though. For those that haven't raked their yards, their leaves are now in a neighbor's yard. I know that winter isn't that far away but the longer we keep nice weather, the better.

My Mums day out at the County Fair

Thanks for the post from Irving Ayala

Every year I take my elderly mother to the local county fair. We both love going there because the atmosphere is so friendly and there is just so much to do. My mother knits, so she takes along a few knitted scarves and jumpers and gives them to a charity stall, I think it's her way of paying back the community for all the love and care she has received from them.

My mum loves to watch the bull riding, grown men pitted against beast, of course the bull always wins as the riders can never stay on long, but it is all fun. I like to watch the sheep sheering contests, seeing who can sheer a sheep the fastest, no real prizes, just the honour of being the fastest sheerer in town. Many of the prizes for some of the contests this year are baby pigs, but I have nowhere to put one, and that is my excuse for not entering the talent contest. My mum wanted to enter the singing contest, but I could not be that cruel to anybody with hearing, so I told her not to. We turned around and began to head home, my mums favourite programme is on direct tv tonight, and there way no way that she was going to miss it.

Light Lunch

Do you ever make just a light lunch? There are times that we do. It may be soup, cheese, sausage and crackers or just a sandwich. We find that we really don't need that much for lunch. It seems like the more we make, the more we eat. So it helps us to make some lighter meals.

Still Together on the Golf Course

Guest post written by Shannon Tracy

It’s funny how some things never change. The older you get, you would think that some of your old hobbies and activities might alter, but Bill and I have had the same little hobby for years. Bill and I love to play miniature golf. I’m not sure what it is about it—probably the good-natured rivalry it brings out in us. We always enjoy a little competition!

We used to take our kids when they were very young, and now that they are grown up and have kids, we take the grandkids our there too. There’s always been something very familial about miniature golf, and the special feelings that we have for it have kept us coming back, even without kids in the house.

Bill was looking for new hearing aids on HearingAids.Miracle-Ear.com the other day when he got distracted and started looking up places to stay in Myrtle Beach. He heard about all the miniature golf there and told me he wanted to go there for his birthday. I thought it was a fabulous idea, and I look forward to taking our new hobby to a new locale!

Shopping

It is something how over a couple of weeks time I find myself with quite a list of things to do. We recently traveled to a larger town near by to do those extra errands. There are always those little things I need to pick up here and there, but also needed to purchase some new uniforms. As with so many other things, they now longer carry the styles I like to wear. So that meant trying on a new look. I ended up ordering, but still feel that they are not as comfortable as my others. What's a person to do?

Packing; the Adventure Before Camping

Thanks for the guest post by Kennith Kramer

Just packing up the van to go camping is an adventure when you have kids. I don't know how other people do it, but when we go camping it takes us three van-loads to pack and we only have one van. This is why we go to the campground two minutes away. That and the fact that we have to come home periodically to feed our 7 pets.

How does a family with two kids fill three vans? First there is the tarp to set the tent on, the tent, four sleeping pads, 4 sleeping bags, 8 pillows and 10 blankets. Then we put in the table that we keep inside the tent and the tarp we place over the tent in case it rains. That's load one.

The next load holds all the clothes, shoes, bathroom stuff, camp chairs, grill, cooking stuff, food, tons of water, a parent and two kids.

The last load has two bikes, bike pump, two scooters, floating noodles and boogie boards (in summer), metal detector, dog and other parent. Just before leaving for good, or until dinner time for the pets, the remaining parent sets the ADT Alarm and joins the rest of the family where we spend the next 2 hours setting up our home for the next 2 nights.

That night we all fall asleep early.

Home Improvements!

We are still enjoying updating our home. Every little thing makes a difference. Change can be a good thing! :) The next thing on the list is to hang our new TV in our office and find a different entertainment stand for in there. We'll see what we come up with. This is a fan we just installed in our guest bedroom. I like it!

Monster Cookies

Last night I mentioned to Bill that monster cookies would sure taste good. Well tonight, without me saying anything more, he made them. They are very good too. Just when I think that he isn't listening, he surprises me. He even cleaned the kitchen when he was done. What a guy. Keep up the good work.

MBT Shoes

We have been doing a lot of shopping lately. Actually we've gotten a great start on our Christmas shopping. Online has made it easy and quick to find what I am looking for. I saw some great mbt shoes that looked very comfortable. I'm still thinking on what I may purchase for a couple of the kids. I'll have to check it our further.

Cards Direct

When my husband and I were first married I worked for Carlson Craft. They were a company that printed, cut and shipped a variety of paper products to buyers. I was considered a slitter. I cut business cards. Now there are companies that have cards direct printing and will do other types of printing for a fraction of the cost. It looks simple and easy to order. There is so much at our fingertips these days.

Door Knob

Our dog Zoe is a silly animal. When she was small we were training her and found that when she needed to go outside we wouldn't hear her at the door unless we were standing close by. This made for a few messes that we really didn't want to deal with. Then someone told us about putting a bell on the door knob. When she wanted to go out she would ring it (or bat at it). Sure enough within a couple of days she had the hang of it and to this day she will ring her bell when needing to go outside.

Travel Deals

I enjoy so much taking a vacation now and again. It's fun to see the sites and just get away from life as I know it. I love to surf the net looking for great travel deals. A co-worker of mine enjoys traveling as much as I do. They are scheduled to go to Cancun four times this year alone. I'm hoping to get away soon.

New Cell Phone

In the near future I can get a new cell phone. I like the phone I have right now so it isn't an important issue to me. If I didn't like my current phone I would be more excited to get a new one. I really haven't had this one overly long but time flies I guess. Soon I will start looking to see what new and modern phones are available. I know a gal that has had the same phone for several years. Whatever works I guess.

Gold Bullion

With the uncertainty of the stock market and the economy wavering, people are reluctant as to where to invest for their futures. Many lost at least one third of their investments over the past couple of years. Now with the United States Gold Bureau you can purchase gold, silver and other precious metals. A person can buy gold bullion in an ingot form and silver as well. Ingot is a pure bullion cast made into a convenient size and shape for sale and storage. For centuries gold has been known for it's purchasing power and to increase one's wealth. The silver market has been in great demand since 1990 and continues to be. It may be worth a look into their website and see for yourself.

Vacation

Our doctors were recently gone for a week and a half. So had a mini vacation. It was sure nice. The time flew by so fast. We were actually only home for two of the days. We spent some time moving our son and his family to their first home. Then we took a couple of days and went Christmas shopping. We are almost done. Yippee!! We also had a baby shower, birthday party and appointments besides. Sure glad I had the time off.

Happy Halloween!

Halloween is not one of my favorite holidays, however it is fun to see our grandkids all dressed up. Kaelyn was Dorothy from the Wiz of Oz (I loved her hair and outfit), Emry was an Army guy (wearing some patches from his great Grandpa Forrest), Kaden was a timid Lion (suited him) and Israel was a Park Ranger(he looked so cute). Kaelyn was freezing in this picture. It was chilly outside.

Bullion

Have you or anyone you know had concerns about our economy as of late? There are many who are hurting and have lost jobs as well as investments. Most are not sure what is the safest way to invest. Now the United States Gold Bureau you can buy silver, gold and other precious metals. They can insure an immediate and safe delivery to a bank or depository of your choosing. Silver and gold can be sold in an ingot form. This is a pure bullion cast made into a convenient size and shape for storing. Presently they are saying there has never been a better time to invest in silver. The demand is greater then the production rate at this point. It may be worth browsing what they have to offer.

Family

We took a few minutes out of the birthday celebration to take some pictures of Josh, Di, Emry and Israel. The leaves added to a nice Fall picture. I'm not sure if they will use this for their Christmas card or what, but I think that it did turn out nicely.

3 years old!!

WOW! Hard to believe that our little grand daughter turned 3 years old this week! We have a nice time at her party on Sunday. She loved her gifts and had the cutest Hello Kitty cake! Her mommy and daddy did a nice job!

Buy Gold

Are you one of the many who have lost one third of your investments over the past couple of years? Do you now have to delay retirement and are unsure of where to invest? Well, the United States Gold Bureau can assist you if you would like to buy gold, silver or other precious metals. They have an immediate and safe delivery system and will arrange for delivery to the depository or bank of your choosing. Silver and gold can be bought in an ingot form. This is a pure bullion cast that is made into a convenient size and shape for storage. This may be a way to increase your personal purchasing power. Browse for yourself.

Israel

Little Israel, what a sweetheart. When the kids were here recently we had the boys in our office watching one of their videos. Israel is such a happy little guy. Emry was next to him glued to the show. What fun to have our grandchildren close by!

Nintendo Wii

Over the years my sons have enjoyed different types of video game units. Recently they have taken an interest in the Nintendo Wii. It is quite the little gamer. You can purchase the Wii console or add on additional Wii controllers. We even found ourselves buying the Nintendo Wii steering wheel for it. There are such a variety of things a person can do with this game unit.

Anti Wrinkle Creams

Recently while traveling to Las Vegas I found their climate to be quite dry. Unfortunately I enjoy sun bathing a little bit too much also. After a few days my heals were extremely dry. I could also see aging on my face. The anti wrinkle creams and lotions were calling my name. I can see what the sun can do, but yet I still put my skin through it all.

Weight Loss Programs

We like many are struggling to keep our weight down. Age plays a role, but we must also work at maintaining. There are weight loss programs out there that are helping a large portion of our population. For me it means to be cautious of quanity and types of foods I am eating. Exercise is a plus also.

Zoe

It's that time again! I had to run Zoe our Bichon over to the groomer. About every six or seven weeks she is ready for a haircut. Her hair is so curly and can begin to matt if we're not careful. The first thing they did was weigh her this morning. She is doing so well keeping off those extra pounds. She has lost seven or eight pounds now. The groomer even said they thought she looked like a totally different dog now. :) Yeah Zoe!!

Lipofuze

Well, as my husband and I grow older we are finding it easier to gain those unwanted pounds and much harder to lose them. We are often trying out a new diet or increasing our exercise, but it seems we need more then that. I know there are fat burners such as Lipofuze and others on the market. Some chose to go that route. I just wish a person could enjoy all of the wonderful foods out there without the consequences.

Accredited Online Bachelor Degree

My oldest son recently completed his Master's Degree on line while working full time and he also has a family. What a great accomplishment. It has really been an asset to his career. Now our youngest son is looking at accredited online bachelor degree programs along with others programs. It's so nice to know that they can continue working while gaining that much needed education.

Build Muscles Fast

My nephews have really changed over the past year or so. They have filled out and seem to be in great shape. I would guess that body building is their thing. They were wanting a way to build muscles fast. We just viewed the ones senior pictures and WOW, you can tell he's been lifting weights. It really does make a difference. Good job Caleb!

Migraine Treatment

I have suffered with headaches since my twenties. When I entered my thirties they began to increase in number and severity. After doctoring I found that I was suffering with migraines. I can have such a clear head and then suddenly it come on me. Last night I took a migraine treatment and this morning am feeling better. It sure isn't much fun to deal with.

Las Vegas

Last month we took a trip out to Las Vegas. We saw and did a variety of things. We spent a couple of nights walking up and down the strip seeing all of the lights, water shows, The Sirens of TI and the Mirage Volcano. We also took in the Fremont Street Experience, the Pawn Star shop, "O" Cirque Du Soleil show, shopping and wonderful eating. It was a great week!

Vitacost Coupons

Last year in starting my Christmas shopping, I found that online shopping saved me time and money. It's that time again once again. We've started our shopping. I've done a lot of online and it sure is handy. I watch for deals like the vitacost coupons and more. It's nice when there is free shipping included also. No more fighting the crowds. I can get it done from home.

Malignant Mesothelioma

I sometimes ask myself why there are so many suffering with cancer today. Often I have thought that our surroundings are contributing. Well, if you have been diagnosed with a malignant Mesothelioma type of cancer, then has been brought on by your environment. They are saying that it is an asbestos caused cancer of the membranes that are around the body's vital organs. What else in our environment today could be effecting our health and well being?

Advanced Forex training

My son is starting to get into the Stock Market now. He like so many young people, are wanting to invest wisely. There are different avenues that a person can explore. Whether it's with an advanced Forex training or simply experimenting on your own, there is a place to invest and a good time to do so. I know we are watching how we are investing these days. A person can't be to careful.

Benzaclin Reviews

Over the years we have raised three wonderful children. In those years there were challenges and a variety of issues. During the adolescent years we found that each child dealt with acne to some degree. Technology didn't allow us to research like a person can today. You can go on line and read benzaclin reviews and other information. The internet has a treasure of information about all sorts of topics.

Still Working

After two years, we find ourselves still working on our home. We have a fan sitting out in the family room on the floor. We still need to install it in one of the bedrooms. We finished some wood trim going down stairs and are looking to hang a new TV in a bedroom. The list seems to never end, but we are enjoying the results.

Trick or Treating

The Author of this post is Solomon Dejesus

Halloween this year is going to be an adventure of first experiences. My son is six and this is his first year to carve pumpkins. He already has his carving templates picked out and cannot wait until the Saturday before Halloween. Traditionally, I always carve the pumpkins the day before. My goal is to never skimp on the details and always try to have the most detailed and creative pumpkins on my block. This is also my son's first year of school, so he is extremely excited to dress up in his chosen costume and roam the neighborhood of schoolmates collecting all the candy in the land. We've recently moved to a new neighborhood and there are several hundred kids, so we will also be stocking up on as much candy as possible to pass out to the hungry hoard of ghouls, ghosts and comic book characters. I am almost as excited as my son for Halloween this year and cannot wait to see what the neighborhood looks like all dressed up. We have several streets to roam as the neighborhood we are in is away from any major streets. Safety first is always our motto. When our feet are sore and our candy bags are full, we will come home and turn on the Direc4u TV to watch all the Halloween specials.

Netbook

I like to use my netbook but it is quite small. I had to get use to it because I was more familiar to a laptop. The keyboard is tiny compared to the larger computer but I have begun to enjoy using it. I do have to admit that it is easy to take with me when I travel. Over all I am glad I bought it.

Voice Changer

Safety in our world today. What makes you feel safe? There are many devices used for a variety of reasons. GPS tracking is becoming quite popular now. We have it on our cell phones and also in some vehicles. If a person is needing to be found or located, these units can be of assistance. There are surveillance cameras of all types. These have been found to protect small children from an out of control baby sitter perhaps. There are also voice changer devices. You can change your voice to a higher increased pitch simply by attaching the device to your telephone handset and adjusting the selector. It can go higher or lower. In the choices for these devices you can find the Portable Professional Voice Changer. It is user friendly and will do the job. It is interesting to see all that technology holds.

MP3 Player

My MP3 player works pretty well and also I have an iTouch but the other day I saw an iPad and what they can do. I know some say that the iPad isn't a computer and I agree. There are some things that they aren't able to do but they are sure a nice tool/toy. I wouldn't mind getting one some day.

Gold Bullion

Many of us are carefully watching the money markets, stock markets and our investments. We have lost a third of our stock investments, there is a concern as to what to do for our future. It is sad to see those who have had to delay retirement due to this decline. Now with the United States Gold Bureau you can purchase silver, gold bullion and other precious metals. The Gold Bureau will insure a safe and secure delivery to the bank or depository of your choosing. Gold can be bought in an ingot form or a gold coin. The ingot form is a pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Click in and browse for yourself.

Shopping

Recently we did a little Christmas shopping. Actually it was about two days worth of shopping. We got a lot accomplished in those two days, believe me. In between stores we got to eat some of our favorite foods. We ate at P.F. Changs for lunch on one day and Hickory Park the next. It was awesome! Funny how we enjoy our food so much! :) The motel we stayed at was wonderful also! It was a Drury Inn. They now serve a night time snack (more of a meal) and breakfast all for the cost of a stay. Very nice!!

4 Wheel Drive

Our two vehicles both have 4 wheel drive and I am glad for it. I was one that said we would never get a 4 wheel drive because of the cost and the idea that if it is bad weather we just wouldn't go anywhere. But now that we have them, thanks to my husband, I am so glad we do. I never worry at all if I am going to be able to get to work. I have more confidence driving around town, especially in the Ford Escape.

Depuy lawsuit

We find that there are many health issues plaguing our society today. When it comes to illness individuals may feel that a hip or knee replacement isn't really a very serious condition. Well, even with a surgery of this type you can find yourself in a lot of pain. That's what they are finding has happened to many of the 93,000 patients that may have received the Depuy orthopedic hip implant. After suffering with severe swelling and pain these individuals may want to seek out some legal assistance. The firm of O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath – Personal Injury Lawyers, can help you with what might be a Depuy lawsuit/liability claim. These attorneys along with their educated and experienced staff may be able to help. You can contact them at:

Jokes

I am not one that remembers jokes very well. Some people can rattle off several jokes in a row and I appreciate that but it just isn't something I can do. There have been times when I have been in the middle of telling a joke and I forget the punchline. I know there are many of you just like me that are terrible joke tellers. Don't worry about it, just enjoy listening to those that have the ability to tell the jokes .

Using our DVR for School Purposes

Authored by Leandro Delgado

As a home schooling mom, I am always looking for ways to supplement the curriculum I use with my children. Thanks to our satellite TV DVR that we got after comaring "directv versus cable companies", this is easier than it has ever been. I can record programs for them to watch that coordinate with what they are studying in school and we watch them when it is convenient. If we are studying Christopher Columbus in two weeks and a program comes on discussing his explorations, I just record it. When we get into the meat of the curriculum, we will take a morning and watch that instead of using the school books. It works perfectly for us.

When my children show an interest in a topic, I try to include that in their curriculum also. To expose them to a wide variety of topics, I will often record educational programs with the DVR. When we finish our school work early, we sit down and view one of these programs together. As a result, my son has developed an interest in aerospace technology and my youngest daughter has shown an interest in landscape design. We are now studying both in school. Without my DVR, this may not have been possible. The more my kids are exposed to, the more they learn. My DVR makes this happen.

Ceiling Fan

We have always had ceiling fans in our house. Recently we replaced one of them. One of the home shows on television said they were not in style any longer but I really don't care. I think they serve a good purpose and they look good too. Maybe my house isn't totally in style but we are going to keep our ceiling fans.

Buy Gold Bars

The economy has been shaky at best. Many have found that the stock market has not treated them well in the past couple of years. There are those that are struggling to make ends meet and have delayed retirement. Now with the United States Gold Bureau a person can buy gold bars, silver and other precious metals for that future financial portfolio. Precious metals give back to a person that purchasing power. Gold and silver can be purchased in the ingot form. This is a pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape. Delivery is made secure and quickly. Browse their website for yourself and see what you may be missing.

Emry and Israel

Last weekend we spent sometime on the farm with our son and his family. Emry and Israel love it out there. You can see some of the flower garden behind them.

How to remove blackheads

I have a co-worker who use to work for a Dermatologist. She has shared some of her comical moments in that medical office. There was a time when she actually went out to the waiting room and called a patient by their skin condition instead of their name. I'm sure at the time the individual didn't appreciate that. She has also shared more important facts like how to remove blackheads. Ways that you can even do it from home. People live different lives don't they? :)

Best Vitamins For Men

Over the past few years my husband and I have decided that we should look into taking some vitamins. We wondered what was the best vitamins for men and women. We presently take a one a day type of vitamin, Vitamin D and E. We like many are seeking to live a healthier lifestyle. We know that we are given only one body and we need to take good care of it.

Learn More

Does your skin change as you grow older? My sure has. In my twenties it appeared tight and smooth. In my thirties I began seeing lines and wrinkle. And now the lines continue to deepen. I know that this is a normal process, but like most I too want to slow down the process and learn more about wrinkle eye creams. The creams also make my skin feel great.

Slow Computer

Don't you hate it when your computer goes really slow? I don't think ours is overloaded with programs but at times it is way to slow for me. We have tried to delete some stuff to help but it hasn't helped too much. I guess we may need to upgrade and buy a newer model some time. For now I will put up with the slow speed from time to time.

Cosmetology School in Phoenix

We have raised three children. Each one different and unique. Each having their own interests. They are now grown and are experiencing life in their own way. If you are one who has thought about the world of cosmetology, then the Regency Beauty Institute may be the place for you. Regency was founded over fifty years ago in Minneapolis Minnesota. They continue to grow an expand, now having over 80 campuses to choose from. Perhaps you are interested in a cosmetology school in Phoenix AZ. Gold Coins

Last year some time I saw on ebay that someone had nearly twenty gold fifty dollar gold coins for sale. At the time they were going for about $900 each. Wow. What a nice collection to have. I would have loved to own that many. Actually I would like to have one or two. I would have sold them too.

Supper

We are having scalloped potatoes and ham for supper. It has been a long time since we made it so we are looking forward to the meal. Bill and I both enjoy cooking so it was a joint effort tonight. Don't tell him but he is quite the cook. Actually I have told him that many times over the years. I don't mind having some meals made for me sometimes.

Bullion

As the world watched, our economy had taken a turn for the worse. Many have lost a third of their retirement funds and now face an unsure future. The United States Gold Bureau has made available for purchase silver, gold and other precious metals. The delivery process is safe and convenient. They will deliver to the bank or depository of your choosing. You will find silver and gold sold in a pure bullion cast. These are called ingot and are a convenient size and shape for storing. This may just be a way of investing for the future. I may look into this further.

Clean Dog

Our dog Zoe had a bath last night. After being outside so much over the weekend she was filthy. I brushed her hair after the bath and she is as soft as ever again. She isn't a big fan of having her face get wet in the tub so I cover her eyes with a wash cloth while cleaning her. That seems to help.

Acne Products

While raising three children we found many challenges. Each child had their own goals, concerns and even health issues. Through out the adolescent years we researched a variety of acne products. Though our children didn't have a huge problem in this area, we still had to address it. Depending on the severity, each one had different needs. It's nice that there are many products on the market today.

Apple Orchard

We had such a great time at an Apple Orchard on Sat. Our daughter and her husband invited us along. It was sure fun watching our grand daughter trying out everything. She had a blast. I strolled Kaden around as he watched big sister. What a great place for children!

Buying Cigars

As a child I can always remember my dad smoking either a cigarette, pipe or a cigar. He enjoyed it and still does to this day. There was definitely a difference between the smells of each of them. The cigar was the best. In buying cigars I guess you can purchase a variety of types. Each one having their own taste and smell. I'm not really sure if dad tried different types or not.

Time To Mow

The grass needs to be mowed but we will wait until tomorrow. I don't think it is something we need to do on Sunday. The weather has been and will continue to be very nice and warm. We did have a brief rain shower yesterday morning and the grass is still growing even though it is mid-October. Even if we didn't get the grass mowed again this year, it really doesn't matter that much.

Royals Doing Decent!

Contribution by Archie Watts

Last Friday, September 19th, I went to the Kansas City Royals vs. Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball game. It was a blast! Considering the Royals lost to the Indians the two previous nights, I was very happy with the fact that we won 6-4. At first the Royals were behind three runs, and at that point my dad and I left to go to the concessions.

Usually to let off our steam, and because they are delicious, we get hot dogs and funnel cakes. Then, as we were standing up in the nose bleed section with funnel cake shoved in our mouths, we see on a little LCD TV that the Royals made a run! If I wanted to watch this on a TV, I would be at home watching it on my satellite TV from www.tvbydirect.com/directv-satellite-tv.html. Obviously we head back to our seats as quickly as possible to watch the ultimate win.

The rest of the game was great, with Zack Greinke pitching pretty well and the Indians, slowly but surely, tiring out. As I already said, we won 6-4. I can only imagine how Royals' manager, Ned Yost, felt about the win. Especially since they have lost most of their games this season.

We play Cleveland again this weekend. I hope we will do just as will in these coming games as we did on Friday.

Slow Computer

It seems like our computer has been quite slow lately. I think we have too much stuff on it. Computers do tend to become obsolete quickly. Ours is probably 4 years old and I am sure we could replace it sometime soon. We bought a netbook last year and are happy with it. It is pretty small but for what we use it for that is fine.

The Real Jersey Shore

Written by my friend Teodoro Martin

One night, while watching my new setup from www.BestChoiceTV.com, I saw a program entitled "Jersey Shore." I should be honest. The people on that show disgusted me to the fullest way somebody could ever be disgusted. Basically, the program depicts a bunch of drunken idiots as the cruise the boardwalk, beach, and bars in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. They get into trouble. They get into fights. Then, they talk about it! As if they are sports commentators on their own stupid lives. Yet, I kept watching. Was it Snooki? Or, The Situation, and whatever situation he was situating? No, I remained interested because of the surroundings. I have lived most of my life in Trenton, New Jersey. It took watching those morons on satelite TV to know I hadn't experienced all that Jersey had to offer. So, my next day off, I jumped in my car and drove to Seaside.

Seaside Heights is nothing "Jersey Shore" depicts. If you forget all the booze, rides and rollercoasters, it is mostly just a beach community. The boardwalk is nothing but a tourist trap; there to bring in tourists and sap them of their on-hand cash. As for the beach community, many people live there year round. They can't wait till autumn, when all the tourists, and more importantly, the "Jersey Shore" production crew, goes home. I respect that.

Cooler Weather

We have had plenty of rain the past few days. Some areas to our north had as much as 9 inches of rain. Much of that was within one hour. It has been much cooler too. I am almost ready to turn on the fireplace to take the chill off. Going from temps of near 80 to about 50 is quite the change.

Las Vegas!

We just got home from Las Vegas! We had a great week! There wasn't a cloud in the sky all week. The temps ranged from 88 degrees to 104. It sure felt warm. We enjoyed taking in the sites and checking out the mountains that surround that city. It is so different then what we see at home. It was very dry and breezy. A person didn't see much for grass. Many yards are just sand. The big casinos have there share of trees, bushes and green grass. I don't know how they keep it looking so good. Lots of water! :)

Buy Gold Bars

With our economy in the shape it appears to be in, many of us have been concerned with our financial portfolios. The stock market has seemed to be shaky at best. Now with the United States Gold Bureau a person can buy gold bars, silver and other precious metals. They will conveniently deliver your investment to the bank or depository of your choosing. Gold and silver can be purchased in coin or ingot form. This is a smaller more convenient size and shape for transfer and keeping. Silver is in high demand at this time which in turn makes it a wiser investment. It's something worth thinking about.

Grand kids

WOW! Don't you hate when you lose a post you've been working on? I do. Anyway, I was just missing my grand kids and was writing a little bit about them. My husband and I are blessed to be the grand parents of four wonderful kids! The older two were born twelve days apart. Emry and Kaelyn are almost three now. Their younger siblings were also born twelve days apart. Kaden and Israel are such happy, smiley boys! We enjoy them all so much. It's that time to go and see them all again!

Favorite Mini Series

Thanks to Jonathon Woods

My favorite mini series that I watch using my satelite tv deals is Everybody loves Raymond. The antics of Raymond and his strung out wife dealing with her in laws are hilarious. Raymond's brother is played by an actor who could play basketball and the feuding between the two brothers who look nothing like each other is very realistic.

My favorite show was when Raymond's mother baked a cake for his brother for his brother. Raymond got jealous and his mother took the cake away from the birthday boy and gave it to Raymond. The reality of the show is very keen as many people who come from homes with similar parental attempts to keep the favorite child happy at the expense of the other is true to life.

At any rate, when Raymond's mother comes over with the other brother's cake, Raymond is sitting at the kitchen table eating a cake that is three times the size of the cake that she baked for his brother. He admits that he was jealous and got his own cake. He then had two cakes to eat. He makes a fuss over his mother's cake and she fondly tells him to leave a piece for the birthday boy.

Pictures

I have to admit, I love taking pictures. Whether they are of my kids, grand kids or places we have been, I love them. It has been fun sending pictures to family and friends by way of the internet. I know some people are hesitant to put some of their family pictures online but I put lots on to share. Here is an example. Enjoy.

Ferrari Parts

Do you have a sports car? Have you ever wanted one? My husband would love to have some exotic little car to cruise around in. There are many sites where you can find the parts you need for your sporty vehicle. You might be looking for parts for a Camaro, Mustang or Charger. Maybe you are in need of Ferrari parts. Whatever it is it seems like you can find what you need on the internet.

iphone Accessories

Have you wondered where your friends are getting all the cool iphone accessories? There are so many items you can buy and dress up your phone or find fun gadgets to along with it. My son has had several iphones. He always wants the latest and greatest model. After seeing them, I don't really blame him at all. Get shopping for fun stuff.

Slide Show

Have you ever wondered how to create designs for a photo slide show? It is easier than ever to take pictures today because of the digital cameras compared to film. If pictures don't turn out, just delete them. What fun it is to create memories by sharing pictures with family and friends. Don't hesitate to make your own creations with family pictures.

Supper Plans

I find it more difficult to decide what to have for supper than to make it. I have told my husband many times that if he makes the decision on what we should have for supper, I will make it. He has told me that same thing. We have our favorites which sometimes helps but there are those times when it is a struggle finding what sounds good.

Baby Shower Invitations

I love going to baby showers, weddings and receptions of all kinds. The last baby shower invitations I received were so cute. They were like I had never seen before, so unique and colorful. I think I was more excited than ever to go to the shower after seeing these great invitations. I found out where they came and plan to pass the information to my daughter, daughter-in-law and their friends.

Rack Mount

Our son has been interested in technology for several years. Because of him I tend to search the internet for items that he has talked about. From a rack mount, flash drives, towers and monitors I have done research on them. I find it interesting to find information on new products. Some of them I will use and many I will probably never have a need for. Technology is fun.

Eczema

As we grow up and begin our families, we have many challenges. In raising three children I found them to each be quite individual. We all have our own ideas, plans and health conditions. Some deal with acne while others may deal with eczema. Some may like sports while others enjoy dance and reading. It's fun to explore a variety of areas with each one of them. The health issues can be another thing.

Barking Dogs

In our neighborhood we have several dogs that like to bark. If one starts in, they all seem to join in. We have small dogs, medium size and large dogs in the area. The small ones are the noisiest I think. It is bad when they start barking when people should be sound asleep. Our dog is no better.

Game time in the kitchen

Guest post written by Lawrence Todd

Some people probably think I'm crazy because I work in a frat house as a cook. But I like what I do for a living. It gets a little more exciting though when it's the day of a home football game because we invite the brothers' parents to the house for a meal before the game and a tailgating event.

That means there are so many more people I have to cook for and the kitchen can get really rowdy no matter how many people are in there and how much planning we do before it.

On the day of the season opener we went with a really simple menu of classic hamburgers and hot dogs with sweet potato fries and an assortment of pies for dessert. But our pastry chef was out sick that day so some other people had to pick up the slack on making the pies and were yelling at me across the kitchen. I couldn't hear most of what they were saying so it was taking me longer to do my duties to help them out. It worked out in the end but after everything said and done I looked at hearing aids reviews and bought some and am ready for next game day.

Squirrel Feeder

About a month ago we lost a hanging type squirrel feeder. It was metal that was shaped like a coil. One day it just disappeared. I thought a neighbor kid had taken it but I am now convinced that a squirrel took it. I think the squirrel got it off the hook which was attached to the tree and took off with it. I am sure it would have been quite the sight, a squirrel running across the yard carrying a the feeder.

Colon Cleanse

I can remember friends of ours telling us about a colon cleanse that really works. They were into cleansing their bodies of unwanted toxins. They not only did that, but also were making other life changing decisions. Diet and exercise were included in those new choices. Recently I have been dealing with some health issues and feel that I need to make some of those same changes for myself.

Diet supplements that really work

As many of us struggle with our weight we ask ourselves " how do we find diet supplements that really work"? What is the answer? It is a very individual process I feel. For some it may mean taking some type of medication. For others it may be to have some life changes in diet and exercise. For me it is to watch my food intake. Just because it taste so good, doesn't mean I have to eat so much of it. How about you?

Acne Solutions

While raising three children, we came across many challenges. In the teen years there were a few issues with acne breakouts. In searching we found a variety of acne solutions. Each child was different in what they were needing. For some the over the counter medicines worked fine. For others it took a prescription. I guess you use what you are in need of.

Whiner

Our dog has become such a whiner. We have been feeding her less so she could lose some weight. It doesn't matter when we feed her, she whines shortly thereafter. It isn't always that she is begging for food either. It might be to go outside or for a walk. I don't know but it seems like she is more of a whiner than she used to be. Maybe it is her age. Shes sitting by my feet right now whining.

U Shaped Desks

We are starting to look at redoing a few things in our office here at home. There is such a variety of desks and furniture available on the market. The U shaped desks are unique and interesting. We may have to check into one of those. My sister had one at one time and I always liked it. We have carpeted, painted and replaced our monitor, so now it's on to the furniture.

Work vs. Play

The other day someone said that work got in the way of their golf. Then another said that his golf got in the way of his work due to the fact that he sometimes takes clients for a golf outing as part of his work. Wow, what a job that must be! Bill would really enjoy going golfing while he works. Where does he sign up?

Cooler Temps

The weather has changed quite a bit in the past few weeks. We have seen some cooler temperatures, especially at night. It has been nice to have the air conditioning turned off and having the windows open. Not only are we saving money but the cool breeze is very nice. We have less bugs too which is great.

Netbook

Our newest computer is a netbook. So far we like it very much. It is smaller than the regular size computer and it does take a little getting used to. We like having this one because it is handy when we travel. I knew the keyboard would be smaller and once you get the hang of using it, it really is easy to use. It isn't the computer I would want to use all the time but I do enjoy it from time to time.

Gold Bullion

Do you know anyone that has taken a beating in the stock markets? I know of many that have lost a third of their investments over the past couple of years. Many are opting to stay with their current jobs in order to work at gaining back their losses. Now with the United States Gold Bureau you can purchase gold bullion, silver and other precious metals. This could be a great way to secure one's wealth. The gold can be bought in coin or ingot form. Ingot is a pure bullion cast in a convenient size and shape for storage. Browse their website and check out what they have to offer.

Fall

I love this time of year. The cool crisp evenings and the colorful palette of orange, yellow and browns that wash across the trees. Football begins and we hear the crowds roar. The smell of burning leaves in the air. It's just too bad that my allergies have to interfere with the enjoyment of it all.

Houston Auto Repair

My son and his family lived in Texas for about five years. It was tough to have them so far away. When it came to problems, they were on their own. Most of us have had issues with a vehicle from time to time. I recently did with my Escape. Of course it was a rare problem they had only seen twice in twenty five years. I'm just glad it was fixable. In Texas you can find the Houston Auto Repair shops. There are many locations sprinkled across the Houston area.
Whether its a Acura Integra or an Escape, they are sure to assist you with what you are in need of. Down south you wouldn't want to be without your air conditioning. It's warm and humid and the cooling system is a must. They can make sure it is up and running for you.
Every car is in need of an oil change or it's regular tune up at some point. A person doesn't have to travel far to receive the help they are needing for their automobile. You can set up an appointment and leave the work to the professionals. They are easy to find.

Research

It is always good to do your research before making a purchase. Recently my husband bought an iPod touch on eBay. It was advertised as new in the box and as a generation 3. Well, come to find out is was a generation 2 which meant it didn't have all the options of the other one. He didn't find out until he tried to upgrade something. Oh well, he enjoys the one he bought.

Big Decisions!

Over the years we've had cable television and been pretty happy with it. However, recently our bill has been going up more and more and we can't seem to reason with the company. It just doesn't seem worth it to be paying this much money, especially when it's just my husband and I now.

We have seriously been talking about getting satellite now. I think we could get it cheaper, and from what I've found on localtv-satellite.com there are some pretty great benefits to going this route. Direct TV is not something I thought I would ever do, but having learned more about LocalTV-Satellite and all they can offer...it may just be the way to go.

Healthcare

There are many today who are out looking for a new job or maybe even their first job. The economy hasn't helped this situation that is for sure. For those searching, the internet can be an excellent tool. If you are in the medical field then healthcare it jobs searches and can assist you in finding available positions that are out there quickly. My brother even has his profile/resume' on line now. What a great way to get your name out there.

Tacos

My daughter-in-law and I both like to change things up when we make our tacos. We like to make our own taco shells instead of using the old stand by you can buy in a box. This is a picture of her tacos. They are very easy to make. The shell is made from ready to bake biscuits. Yum Yum!

Nylabone Nubz, Edible Dental Dog Chews

For the longest time our dog had the worst breath. We are not taking efforts to try and control it. That's why I was happy to learn more about Nubz Dental Treats. They are made of digestible natural ingredients. Vets recommend them because they actually help to clean dogs' teeth and promote fresh breath and healthy gums. This is exactly what we've been needing! Like with a child, I am careful what we give her. I'm really glad to learn that Nubz are made with real chicken with no added sugar, salt or preservatives. It's important to me that she's getting healthy food.

I'm really hoping to try Nylabone Nubz, Edible Dental Dog Chews sometime soon. Zoe can be picky sometimes, but lately has been pretty good to try new things. I'm sure she'd like these. From what I've read, Dogs just love them...so it would definitely be worth a shot.

If you're looking for healthy dog treats, you can find Nylabone Nubz, Edible Dental Dog Chews at Costco. There is actually a coupon in the monthly coupon book for Costco members. The coupon's value is $3.50 and valid from August 19th - September 12th.
