New Ear Buds

Have you ever thought that anyone would spend close to $100 on little ear plugs? Do the expensive ones really have that much better sound? I know someone that recently won an Ebay bid for Bose ear buds. They were quite expensive but apparently they do have great sound. We have some that are pretty basic and don't sound too bad. I am not sure I would spend that much personally but I guess there are some that do.
