Icy day

Wow, what an icy day!! Nothing was left untouched by the rain and sleet. I let Zoe, our dog, outside. She went sliding across the deck. Scott and Jenna came to our house this weekend and we know they are safe and sound here with us. We lost power for about half an hour but thankfully it is back on.
Jake was supposed to go to a wedding in the cities but he decided to stay at school where he is dry and warm. We pray his girlfriend gets home safely tomorrow as she did go to the wedding.
