Oliver Gaspirtz was born in Aachen, Germany, but he now lives in New York with his wife, Debbie. They came here in l993 and he published his first book that year.His cartoons apear in many magazines including the Saturday Evening Post and also the National Enquirer and others. In 2000, he decided to publish exclusively on the internet where you can see the best in animated flash cartoons and funny pictures.

In l997 he decided to go to single panel gag cartooning and also published the book "A Treasury of Police Humor". "A Treasure of Pet Humor" was published in l998 and since then, his cartoons can be found in over a dozen books published in many countries. His best seller is "Chicken Soup For The Soul".
