Cutting Apples

My husband was cutting an apple with a tool designed for that purpose.  It was working very well until he cut his thumb on the metal blade.  Wow, did it bleed!  Funny thing is, or I should say not so funny thing, just weeks ago I did the very same thing.  It took days for mine to heal up and to quit hurting.  Lesson learned.   If the the first time, the second.
