Jamaica

We've been taking care of the grandkids while their mommy and daddy have been gone to Jamaica. Our daughter is a stay at home mom and it was difficult for her to leave her babies. It sounds like they had a wonderful time and they should be back tonight. We have enjoyed spending time with the little ones. :)

We were in need of a new television recently so we bought one of the new flat screen models. They are very light weight and we mounted it on the wall. My husband and I are hoping to do some traveling this year. I have started to shop for some new summer clothes and finding it's not a lot of fun when you gain some weight over the winter months. Cold Weather

The forecast is for cold weather and maybe some snow again. The temperatures were well into the 60s early this week and then went to the 30s. What a change! Each week we get sales flyers in the mail. Most of the time they aren't something I take time for but this week I actually read through them. Playbook

The men in my life are sure into the latest technology. They love all of the phones, Ipods, computers, Ipads, Mp3 players and Playbook recorders. Super Bowl

I have heard several people talk about the recent Super Bowl game. Most thought it was just an ok game. A majority of the comments were more about the messed up version of the National Anthem and the half time show. Some of the commercials were fun to watch but others were terrible in my opinion. Apparently many people with tickets to the game were refused entry due to the fact that the fire marshal wouldn't allow seating in certain areas of the stadium. I am sure it would be fun to be at a Super Bowl game but I figure we had better seats right here at home.

I have worked in the medical field for many years now. When I first started out we were allowed to wear white pants with any colored top that we wanted too. Then we began to wear uniform lab coats. It was nice to have that so that we weren't spilling on our other clothes.

I Love These Kids!!

At Christmas, Emry and Kaelyn were having so much fun together. They were wrapped together in a blanket. There is always something they are creating or doing. They pretended to give each other massages and manicures. It was so cute.

John Deere Tool Man

Our daughter-in-law put up this cute picture of our little John Deere tool man! Emry is so much fun! He loves to dress up and he really enjoys playing with his tool set and fixing everything for mom. ;) So fun to watch.
