Accident

My Mom's friend fell Saturday night and broke her hip. She couldn't get up and finally crawled to her bed and called for help about 9:00 AM. She has a very weak heart and they had to check with her cardiologist because she had to have surgery on Monday. She was able to have the surgery and she did just fine. She is recovering in the hospital now. She is 89 years old.

Heavy Winds

It was not supposed to snow today but we had very heavy flurries and very high winds and it was just like a whiteout. There were a number of accidents on the interstate and the National Weather Bureau has put out a warning about bad visibility. I am glad I don't have to go anywhere tonight.
