Zoe is Home!

It's really nice to have our puppy back home now. Zoe was with Jenna and Scott for a week, just keeping them company and visiting. Although it's nice once in a while that she can go and visit them, I sure like having her home too!:) She's such a sweet dog, and really is wonderful company. No matter what kind of day I might be having, Zoe is always there to greet me at the door with a wagging tail!

VoIP Forum

I recently checked out the Vonage VoIP Forum, and was very impressed with all that they had to offer. For those who may not be familiar with Vonage, they offer people a very affordable phone service compared to other companies. I was impressed with all the information provided on the Vonage Forums and suggest that everyone take a look at their reviews, news and forums sections on their site to learn more and find out if Vonage is right for you. Green green grass of home

The green green grass of home. I think that could be the makings of a song. Oh wait, I guess it is a song! Can you believe how much greener the yards have gotten in just the past few days? My husband had just said the other day that people in Des Moines have been mowing already and that our yard wasn't ready to mow. Now with the recent rains I think that we will be mowing very soon. Bill said he needs to change the oil in the mower and get it ready. He put on crabgrass preventer last week and has some fertilizer for later. One of his favorite sayings lately has been 'I would rather mow than shovel'. I hope he means it!

Global Futures Exchange

Do you have experience in the stock market and, in particular, foreign exchange? You might have limited or no knowledge in this area like many other people. It can be very profitable trading foreign exchange and there are risks involved. You need to have all the information you can when you decide to put your hard earned money to work in this way. That is why you may want to check out Global Futures Exchange Trading Company, Inc. You can open an account for as low as $250 and have great customer support. You may be paying too much commission and global futures will try to match or beat what you are currently paying. That tells me that they want your business and are more than willing to help in any way that they can.

He will start part time next week and then full time as soon as he is done with school. At only twenty one years old he is starting out ahead of many his age.

Wallpaper

What a gorgeous day it was today! The sun was shinning and the breeze felt so good. The grass is starting to green up and it smells fresh outside. Well, I didn't get to enjoy the whole day outdoors. I needed to hang some wallpaper boarder in my downstairs bathroom. It went up pretty easy. I was doing it by myself. I'm transforming that room into a lighthouse theme. I think it's really going to turn out cute. My daughter has ordered me a clock, Kleenex box and a few other items to match everything else I've already purchased. It's fun to have change.

What's Coming Up?

So what might be around the corner for PayPerPost? Could it be that they are looking to upgrade, grow and expand the great company they have already become. It is so amazing how they have created a work place for so many people. Giving them the opportunity to make that so often needed extra cash. Maybe the new company PayPerPost is acquiring will be some type of Performance Communications Company. It may aid in trying to drive productivity upward in the organization. Sometimes an outside source may see things in a company that they themselves have not noticed. Giving tips and suggestions that can improve what seems to already be successful. Helping in the management of people or possibly in the field of communication, so as to keep their team working together in harmony. It could assist in the way things are presented. For an example, online ads, giving ideas on format etc... It may also give technology support. Helping with the newest ideas on the cutting edge of technology. Then there's always the increasingly important financial management. Who couldn't use new and fresh ideas in that arena? What could this all mean for Posties? Well, when a company is fine tuned it can only mean better things for all of us! Stay tuned.........

Tired

Well it's getting late and I need to go to bed. Work comes early. I've been sitting waiting for the big $500 opp of the day. It finally came out around 10:13 pm tonight. I saw it appear and did everything right. My computer seemed like it was moving quickly, but not quick enough I guess. Looks like the same gal that got a $100 opp earlier today also took the $500 opp. It would be nice if once a person got one of the big opps of the day, then they no longer are up for another until the following Tues. O'well............. There's next week I guess.

Virginia

That terrible shooting at Virginia Tech College. I just can't seem to get it off of my mind. It saddens me so. I just don't understand why someone would feel they need to take someone else's life from them. It's sad enough that they don't cherish the life God has given them, but then they take the lives of others. I have a son away at college and I just had to call him. I wanted to hear his voice and let him know I love him. He reassured me that his campus is one of the safest around. Aren't kids great. They try to uplift us when we're down. Give your kids a hug or a call today.

Gamma Knife Surgery

After visiting the Brain Tumor Treatment website, and reading more about Gamma Knife surgery, I've come to realize how important it is to raise awareness about this new option of brain tumor treatment. Like anything, raising awareness about something, not only makes people more aware, but it makes them more knowledgeable and able to make the best decisions for themselves regarding their specific situation. If someone were dealing with a brain tumor and knew something about Gamma Knife Surgery, they would be more likely to look into their options and question a doctor or professional about those options. Although treatment is specific to each individual, I feel that awareness of the options out there will help save more lives. Technology is a great thing, and we should take advantage of the wealth of information out there about brain tumor treatment, specifically that of Gamma Knife Surgery and all that they do for patients with brain tumors. Check this site out to learn more. This is a paid post.

Watching the News

Watching the news can be so saddening most days. It seems that there are so many more crimes going on throughout the US these days, especially concerning shootings in schools. It wasn't until my kids were in High School that we started hearing a lot more about school violence. Today I am saddened to see that this has happened once again in Virginia, known to be the deadliest campus shooting in history. The gunman killed 30 faculty/students and then himself. How sad that these types of things go on.

Brain Tumor Treatment

Besides the little bit that I had learned online, I really had no idea what Gamma Knife all entailed. I knew that it was some sort of radiosurgery, offering patients a new type of brain tumor treatment option. Although I had done a little reading on this topic before, I really didn't know a whole lot about it until I looked into it further at http://www.braintumortreatment.org. Although treatment is specific to each individual, it's very important to be aware of the options out there. Not all doctors or professionals know everything there is to know about certain treatments, and that's why it's important to educate ourselves and others. From what I have read, this type of radiosurgery seems to be quite accurate in treating the specific area of concern without harming the patient or exposing them to excessive radiation. It seems to be a treatment that others should learn more about, to see if it is something they are willing to share with others. Check this site out today and see what you think. I am being paid for this post.
Gamma Knife Saves Lives

Gorgeous Day

I really enjoy this time of year when the birds are out and the snow is gone! Although winter can be pretty, spring is much more pleasant to be out and about in. Today is just such a beautiful day! I love seeing things begin to grow and the sun shine! It's nice not having to put on layers and layers of clothing before heading outside, and not having to shovel or scrape off my car windows because of frost. I love gorgeous days like this, and look forward to many more, as Spring is upon us and summer is right around the corner!

Cancer Treatment Awareness

Thankfully, no one that I've known has ever had to deal with a brain tumor. However, even though I've never had anyone close to me go through brain tumor treatment, I do know that, like with all types of cancer, it's very important to get the word out there about effective treatments available to them. Cancer is a terrible thing that so many unfortunately face in today's world. I'm sure that it can be very overwhelming, especially if one is unaware of the options available to them. I recently came across some information on brain tumor treatment, called Gamma Knife Surgery. A Gamma Knife is a piece of equipment used, allowing for an non-invasive type of surgery with no cuts into the patient! This is something that really caught my attention, and was information that I wanted to be sure to share with others. Although all treatments depend on the person and their specific situation, I feel it's important to be educated, and this is something others should learn more about. This is a paid post.

Zoe

Zoe is our dog. She is so good and fun to have around. We went to a movie this afternoon and when we got home guess who was waiting for us at the front door? If you said Zoe you were right. When she was little she did go through a period of time when she would, as I called it, craft. What I mean by that is she would chew on my crafts around the house when we were away. She is long over that thankfully. Rarely does she make any mess at all. She sleeps most of the day and is always excited to see us. She barks at people and things outside but if anyone comes to see us she gets used to them quickly. Zoe is a Bichon and does not shed. Bichons are good with people who have allergies too. If you are looking to find a well mannered dog, consider a Bichon.

MP3 Player

How many of you have an MP3 player? Probably a majority of those reading this have one or more of them. I am looking to buy one and have spent too much time online comparing I am sure. Just ask my family! I am leaning towards the Sandisk brand, although Samsung looks really nice as well. My son Jake has a Samsung cell phone and it is really cool looking. The Samsung MP3 player looks similar. So I am still not sure which one to buy. What do you think? Maybe I don't even need one. I do have a PDA that I have music on but it isn't very handy to hold while working out. Just when I find what I think is a good deal, I find another on a different site. Right now the best price is actually at www.dell.com. Ok Ok I will finally decide!! Thanks for your help.

Away for Training

Well my husband is home from a week of training. It is nice to have him home. We have had some snow this week and I had to shovel! Bill is the one who usually does that. I have a new appreciation for him. He called me the other morning and I had just shoveled the deck and was sweating! Our dog, Zoe, needed a path from the deck to the grass so I even made a path in the yard. My sister visited for a couple days and she even helped. The snow has just about disappeared so hopefully I won't have to do that again for a long time.

CSI

It's Thursday night again. Boy, the weeks fly by. Tonight is the night I love to watch CSI. I watch them all three, but CSI Las Vegas is by far my favorite. They have messed around with the characters a little bit, but pretty much keep them the same. If they leave the show, they seem to return shortly after. I like how the characters interact with one another. There's competition and conflict. Down deep I think they all seem to really care about one another.

Belisi Radio

While working on my computer I sometimes wish that I had something to listen to other then the sounds of the dishwasher, TV, dog barking etc... I came upon Belisi Radio. What great music! Belisi is known to have sophistication. They're classic and beautiful and now they've taken it to music. This new online radio station features today's hottest artists, music legends, progressive lounge tracks, jazz, and rock favorites. It's all about timeless classics. They are known for their fashion and now they have brought that quality to Belisi Radio. As this station grows, listeners will be given the chance to purchase Belisi Music on CD or even download music at a great price. Currently you can tune in and listen to the music for free online. Check them out today. This is a paid post.

Sisters

Sisters are great! My sister had a dental appointment here in town so she came to stay for a couple of days. We just don't do that enough. We visited for hours. We never seem to run out of things to talk about. One day we went to lunch at the local Tea House. It was so much fun. I took sometime off from work and that was a plus also. Looking forward to when wecan get together again.

Window Blinds

We recently did some home improvements and found in changing our windows that many of our window treatments would no longer fit. So their we were needing to do some shopping. What better time and money saver then to look on the internet. Well, I came across this great website at www.terrysfabrics.co.uk. So where to begin. I was thinking about the bedrooms and they had some awesome black out roller blinds and they even had them available in different colours. They can be cut to any width and come with all the fixings and instructions. Then we were thinking about the living room and thought that maybe vertical blinds might be nice. These blinds have recently become more popular because they give a clean cut look for a contemporary home which suits us perfectly. There's even free delivery up to a certain amount. Sure glad we found this site. Check them out today. You'll be glad you did.

Easter Sunday

We are up and getting ready for church on this beautiful Easter Sunday morning. Today we will be holding church service in the family center and have only one service. I hope it will be packed. People need to hear the real Easter message if they haven't already. They need to hear how Jesus was born, lived, died and rose again for us. It really did happen even though some people would say otherwise. Whether it is believed or not, all will give account some day and face either life with Christ or life in hell. It seems like such an easy decision to make doesn't it? Trying to be good enough won't work. Only accepting Jesus and believing in Him will get you to Heaven. Nothing else. Not just saying 'yeah I believe that stuff' is good enough. You must really put your trust in Him and live for Him. The Bible is clear on how we must be saved. Read John 3 and you will find out how to be born again and on your way to Heaven. Happy Easter.

Easter

Well, spent much of the day getting things ready for dinner after church tomorrow. Jen, Scott and Jake will all be home and we also invited my folks. Should be a good time. We're just getting ready now to head up to Jen and Scott's to take Jake out for his birthday. He turned 21 today! His girlfriend Renee is on her way back from college and is going to go with us. Think we may have pizza.

Windy

Wow, was it windy today!! It should be nice don't you think? Too cold for April. I guess we shouldn't complain, it isn't that bad. It could be October and snow all over. That would really be upsetting.

Broken Windshield

Well, as usual it is another cold day here up north. It's April, where's our spring weather? Well, we're making the best of it. Just good to see the snow melted away. My son's windshield got a huge crack down the middle of it. It happened while being hoisted up to be worked on . The Auto Glass Center came to our home and replaced and fixed the car. It's really something how they can just travel around and do that.

Job

Well, our youngest son Jake is going to be graduating from college in May. He's now on the job search. He's had a couple of interviews with one company and soon to have his first interview with another company. It's a big world out there and tough sometimes to know exactly what you want to do with your future. Well, I think Jake is difinitely on the right path. He's interested in management and that's what he's pursuing. We are praying that God will guide him in the direction he should go.

Mp3 Player

Do you have an Mp3 player? I have friends and family that have them. Recently I thought maybe it was time for me to buy one too. So I watched online and got one. It worked fine the first day of use. It played the music that we downloaded and even had a radio. After a night of charging guess what?! It didn't work any more. I have emailed the seller and am waiting for a response. Another thing was that I don't think the seller really represented the player very well. Since then I have seen some others that I wish I would have gotten instead.

Sunday

Well, it's a rainy day again. Got up early and went to church. Then went with the kids to the Pizza Hut for lunch. We let Zoe out when we got home and she came in all muddy. Silly dog. It was a great day for a Sunday nap. :)

Sell Car Here

How many of us are looking to sell a car? Let's face it, when buying a car you just aren't going to get as much for your old vehicle by trading it in. It can be quite costly to put ads in the paper or on the internet such as "sell car here". Well, I found this website at www.sellmyauto4free.com which can be an inexpensive route to take. It's 100% free car posting! You can even upload pictures of your vehicle. You can find all kinds of information such as loan calculations, car locator and financial options. Check them out today.
