Funeral

Well today I went with my folks to my uncle Bob's funeral. It's always a sad time, but can also be a celebration for those who are ready in Christ and Bob knew the Lord. Was nice to see some family there also. When I got home the windows/siding guys were here. They actually got all of the windows in today. They just need to trim them out tomorrow and then start the siding. Was disappointed to see that we most likely will need all new blinds. The windows are all just a little bit bigger then the old ones. O'well.....

Well the siding guy called and it sounds like they will be coming on Tuesday to get started! I was hoping they would. Need to get busy taking down the blinds and curtains. Hope the windows fit the same as the old ones so we don't have to go out and buy new blinds etc...

Snow scooping!

My husband feels like all he has gotten done today is scoop snow. The weather was very nasty and we didn't even get out of the house for church. That is a bummer. Scott and Jenna just headed for home after staying with us for the weekend. They took Zoe, our dog, with them because we are supposed to have a crew come to do windows and siding this coming week. Snow

Well now it's snowing. First was the rain, ice and sleet. What a day. Well at least I can smell my roast in the crock pot. Yum Yum.... Should be good. Making me hungry. This is one of those days when a nap would be nice. Bill went out and scooped the driveway and deck and now the snow is really coming down. Sounds like we could get as much as a foot of the white stuff. :(

Icy day

Wow, what an icy day!! Nothing was left untouched by the rain and sleet. I let Zoe, our dog, outside. She went sliding across the deck. Scott and Jenna came to our house this weekend and we know they are safe and sound here with us. We lost power for about half an hour but thankfully it is back on.

Siding the House

Well it looks like the siding company is going to be a little late siding the house. It will take a little longer for them to get started than they thought. I am really disappointed as so anxious to get on with it. We will start pulling off the old siding this weekend. That should be quite a job.

Mom's computer table

Warmer Weather

Wow! It's 42 degrees outside. I can see the snow melting of the neighbor's roofs. It is melting everywhere. It really seems so warm after all the below zero weather we have had both days and nights. New Windows

Have some work to do at home to get ready for new windows. They are going to put our new windows in two weeks from now and then we will get our house sided. Will change the color a bit and will be doing new landscaping too this Spring. It is very exciting.

After Church

My Uncle

Day Off

My Mom

Back to Work

Back to work today. It was good to have a long weekend but it was alot of work too. We got so much done in the house our daughter moved into. It looks very nice. Zoe

Zoe, our little dog, went along while we were busy moving our daughter and husband. She was very good and we were glad we didn't need to get a dogsitter. Weather Watch

Tired Out

Super Bowl Sunday

Our big new 51" tv was in place and all the snacks were set out and we were ready for the big game. It is was an exciting game too with lots of surprises with the Colts winning in the end. New Chair

Celebration

Zoe is our little dog. She is the cutest little thing and a regular member of our family. She makes a good watch dog as she barks the minute someone comes. Moving
