Indian Translations

Ipad Mini

I have seen an Ipad Mini but haven't used one.  I have an older Ipad and really like it.  The Mini seems like it would be a great size.  It appears to be about the size of a Kindle too.  I think the Mini has some features that my Ipad doesn't have.  I am thinking of buying one soon.  The Ipad will still be used but I will use the Mini more often.  

Save on trombone cases at Guitar Center

I remember when our children each decided that they wanted to play in the band at school.  As each approached middle school we were on the search for that perfect instrument.  Its nice to know when you can save on trombone cases at guitar center, because everything helps.  It's not cheap to play an instrument, but our children enjoyed it!

Sweet Aliyah

Our youngest grand daughter Aliyah is so precious.  Momma caught her smiling today!  She looks a lot like her daddy.  :)

Bari Sax Case

Our oldest son joined the band when he was younger.  He played the bari saxophone.  It seemed almost as big has he was at the time.  He did a great job playing!  I can still see him walking to school carrying his bari sax case.

New Car

I think this year we will get a new car.  Actually it won't be a new car but a good used one.  We have never had a brand new car but have always found great used vehicles.  The past few have been SUVs and although we never thought we would ever need 4 wheel drive, that is all we will ever get from now on.  We currently have one that is ten years old and one that is eleven years old.  We don't drive a lot of miles per year so both vehicles have fairly low mileage.  My husband enjoys looking at vehicles and this year he may get another chance.

Best Music Stands

Do you ever notice when attending a music concert that they use the best music stands.  Each student has their own.  It's important that they are able to see their music easily.  I enjoy a great concert.  Kids work so hard for that big night!

Snow Scoop

Many years ago Bill's dad gave him a snow scoop.  It is fiberglass with oak runners on the bottom and has an aluminum handle.  I am guessing we have had it for 25 years or so.  The fiberglass is starting to break up some so we will be trying to find a new one by next winter.  It isn't like a shovel that you can throw snow but instead you can easily move the snow and then dump it.  It has been a great thing to have and it is a must to find a new one.

Addiction to opiates

There are many out there who struggle with an addiction to opiates and other such drugs.  It is sad to watch and can often be quite devestating to the people who are close with the individual.  Family and friends may often step in to get help for their loved one.  Step in and help if you can.

Our family continues to grow each year.  What a blessing they are!  This is our grandchildren.  What fun we have when we're all able to get together!
