What a Blessing!

Oh what a blessing! Our 5th grandchild was born on Sunday. His name is Caysen Reed Gaskill! He weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 20 inches long. He looks somewhat like his brother Kaden. What a sweetie.... :) We are blessed.... We are both trying to do all we can to help them out at home with the older children. When you have a c-section, you have to be especially careful and cannot do many things. So it is a blessing to us to be able to help them out in any way we can.

New Grandbaby

We are really getting very excited about our 5th grandbaby that is on the way. He or she will be born next Tuesday and we are counting down the days. When our daughter goes to the hospital, we are planning to go to their home and take care of our two grandchildren and then also stay and help cook, clean and assist her and her husband with anything they need. It will be so neat to have a new baby to cuddle again. We are so excited!!!

Watching the Grandkids

Our daughter had a doctor's appointment so I went over and stayed with the grandchildren. They are so full of energy and a real challenge to keep up with. It is too difficult to take small children, ages 2 and 4 to the doctor's office for an OB checkup. Their Mom will be adding a 3rd child to the family in about 3 weeks so she has a checkup every week now. The kids love their Grammy and are always glad to have me stay with them or come to our house. And I love it too.

Toy Box

Kids find the funnest places to play. Our grandson Israel loves to climb into things. He found a big basket and began playing. Oh how sweet.....

Grandsons

Is this not about the sweetest! I love them! This is two of my grandsons, Emry and Israel. They are so good together.

Jamaica

Recently our daughter and her husband traveled to Jamaica! What fun for them. We also had a lot of fun while they were gone. We got to take care of Kaelyn and Kaden, their children. :) What a blessing. It was such a fun week! We would do it all over again. I'm glad the kids could get away and relax also.

Apple Pie with Grampa!

Our grand daughter Kaelyn recently showed an interest in making an apple pie. So while we were spending time with them recently, her and grampa made one. As you can see by her face, she was thrilled! It was very tasty!

Jamaica

We've been taking care of the grandkids while their mommy and daddy have been gone to Jamaica. Our daughter is a stay at home mom and it was difficult for her to leave her babies. It sounds like they had a wonderful time and they should be back tonight. We have enjoyed spending time with the little ones. :)

John Deere Tool Man

Our daughter-in-law put up this cute picture of our little John Deere tool man! Emry is so much fun! He loves to dress up and he really enjoys playing with his tool set and fixing everything for mom. ;) So fun to watch.

Aren't Grandkids Wonderful?!

Over Christmas time we were blessed to have our family around us. Emry and Kaelyn had a lot of fun playing together. They are such sweeties. I love them so....

New Years Eve

We are excited about spending New Years with our daughter and her family. Our grandchildren are growing up so fast and it is so much fun to spend as much time with them as possible. I hope one day they live a bit closer to us but right now it isn't too far except in bad weather. We will all have a good time. Our little granddaughter just loves to help her "Grammy" in the kitchen :0)

Baking Fun!

My oldest grandson Emry was visiting Grammy recently. We had so much fun making lunch on Sunday afternoon. He was such a good helper. We were making Pizza Roll-ups. That's what I like to call them!

Park Ranger

It was so much fun to spend time with our grandkids over Halloween. The youngest, Israel, was a park ranger. He looked so cute all dressed up.

1st Birthday!

We had another wonderful birthday party today. Our grandson Kaden turned one. He is such a sweetie. He began walking this past week and looked so cute walking across the room. They are so little when they start out. I love watching!

3 years old!!

WOW! Hard to believe that our little grand daughter turned 3 years old this week! We have a nice time at her party on Sunday. She loved her gifts and had the cutest Hello Kitty cake! Her mommy and daddy did a nice job!

Israel

Little Israel, what a sweetheart. When the kids were here recently we had the boys in our office watching one of their videos. Israel is such a happy little guy. Emry was next to him glued to the show. What fun to have our grandchildren close by!

We had such a nice time at a wedding recently. This is a picture of Bill and Jenna dancing. Our grand daughter Kaelyn danced the night away. She was really something. When the floor would empty, she would stand there looking like, where is everybody going?

Brotherly Love...

Is this not about the sweetest thing you have ever seen!! Our grandson Kaden is about 6 months old. He has recently begun sitting up on his own. He now enjoys playing and interacting with his big sister Kaelyn. It is so cute to watch them....
