A Dog And Her Bone
Our dog loves to have a chewy bone in the evening. She is funny to watch because she hides it around the house. Last week she actually forgot where she hid it. She looked all over the house and I finally gave her a new one. There are times she will stare at me with the chewy bone in her mouth like she wants me to turn away so I don't see where she hides it next.

Door Knob
Our dog Zoe is a silly animal. When she was small we were training her and found that when she needed to go outside we wouldn't hear her at the door unless we were standing close by. This made for a few messes that we really didn't want to deal with. Then someone told us about putting a bell on the door knob. When she wanted to go out she would ring it (or bat at it). Sure enough within a couple of days she had the hang of it and to this day she will ring her bell when needing to go outside.

Zoe
It's that time again! I had to run Zoe our Bichon over to the groomer. About every six or seven weeks she is ready for a haircut. Her hair is so curly and can begin to matt if we're not careful. The first thing they did was weigh her this morning. She is doing so well keeping off those extra pounds. She has lost seven or eight pounds now. The groomer even said they thought she looked like a totally different dog now. :) Yeah Zoe!!

Whiner
Our dog has become such a whiner. We have been feeding her less so she could lose some weight. It doesn't matter when we feed her, she whines shortly thereafter. It isn't always that she is begging for food either. It might be to go outside or for a walk. I don't know but it seems like she is more of a whiner than she used to be. Maybe it is her age. Shes sitting by my feet right now whining.

Skinny Dog
Recently our dog Zoe was put on a special canned dog food to help her lose some weight. She absolutely loves it. We can hardly get the food in her dish before she starts to gobble it down. Several people have commented on how she is looking thinner. We look forward to the next time she gets weighed at the vets office because she is definitely much lighter. Way to go Zoe.

Sick Dog
Our dog Zoe has not been feeling well. We had to take her to the vet a couple of times recently. She had been given some medication and it has seemed to help. We have limited the amount of food she gets and we also make sure not to give her people food. We are thankful that she is beginning to feel better. She has had a rough month. It's never good to have a sick dog.

Another Bichon
Today Bill met with someone who had a Bichon like our dog Zoe. He said that the dog was a 3 year old female with the name of Snowflake. Snowflake is quite a bit smaller than Zoe and her hair is more wavy than curly. Bill said, the dog was very well mannered and friendly too. We have really loved our dog even though Bill will sometimes act like he would give her away in a second.

Wall.E

Josh, Di and Emry went out and bought a dog when they returned home from Christmas. They have been patiently waiting to move to a location where they would be allowed pets. They recently received the OK. :) They were so excited! Wall.E is a cocker spaniel. It sounds like he is mild tempered and very patient. He's seven years old and came from a Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Emry seems to love him also. He's learning "nice touches" and they are getting along great! We're anxious to meet Wall.E!
