Modern Furniture

Over the past few years we have been redoing our home. With that has come many changes from modern furniture to wall color. It has been fun to watch the transformation. We are pleased with the outcome. It feels warm and homey. I love the earth tones. The tans, sage green and brick red all compliment each other. The newer styles of light fixtures are fun too!

Home Improvements!

We are still enjoying updating our home. Every little thing makes a difference. Change can be a good thing! :) The next thing on the list is to hang our new TV in our office and find a different entertainment stand for in there. We'll see what we come up with. This is a fan we just installed in our guest bedroom. I like it!

Still Working

After two years, we find ourselves still working on our home. We have a fan sitting out in the family room on the floor. We still need to install it in one of the bedrooms. We finished some wood trim going down stairs and are looking to hang a new TV in a bedroom. The list seems to never end, but we are enjoying the results.

New Carpet

We are planning on having some new carpet installed in three bedrooms and the hall. Two of the bedrooms have had the same carpet for about twenty five years. It is time for a change. The carpet has held up pretty well but you can tell it has just lasted about as long as possible. We found some carpet that we really liked, only to find out that it had supposedly been discontinued. At least until this past Saturday that is what we thought. We then found out that there was such a demand for that particular brand and style that the company is still going to produce it. We were very pleased to hear that. The store ordered a roll of it since they know it is a good seller. They will then come and measure our rooms to determine how much we need. We think that we night have new carpet by the end of this month. We are very happy about that.
