American Idol

Well, what do you think about the American Idol show? I have never really watched it regularly until this year. I enjoyed the auditions and now I hate to miss any of the shows! I wonder who will be voted off tomorrow. I would not want to be the one to decide to get rid of any of them. They are all very good. I guess I do have my favorites. Time will tell. I think whoever gets voted off will still have a great career in their future. I plan on watching tomorrow and the rest of the season. Will you be watching too?

New Air Conditioner

Our old air conditioner was probably about thirty five years old. It still worked ok but apparently there are some new regulations concerning appliances. The newest versions require all new lines, I was told. Fortunately my plumber had a couple holdover units that would work without a lot of changes. Since we just got new windows and put new siding on the house, it was the right time to have the new air conditioner installed too. It is very nice looking besides working well. I think it is a larger one than I had before.

Gorgeous Weather

The weather has just been gorgeous these past couple of days! I was outside with Bill last night putting up one of our new plants, and I could have just sat on our deck swing for hours! The temperature was just perfect out...not too cold, and not too hot! Zoe has even been enjoying this weather...as she spends much time outside whenever she can. I hope the weather continues on like this, especially since we have a big weekend ahead of us!

This Weekend

I've been quite busy the past couple of weeks getting things ready so that we can go down and help our youngest son move out of his dorm and get settled into his new apartment. I've been boxing up some of the things and trying to make sure that we don't forget anything when we go down. It should be a fun weekend...his place sounds really nice! It's also the weekend that he graduates from college which is going to be so great to be a part of as well! We're all so proud of him and all he's accomplished!
